The time has come to address the suspension damage and it turns out we need more suspension components than initially expected, but that's not stopping us! Pvc pipe also works to roll the guards (fenders) it squeezes between the wheel and the lip. One person holds the pipe while one drives forward and boom. Fixed

Apply some rock chip safe paint and sealand on the inside. After rolling the fender it is more affected for rusting on the edges.

I own the same Golf R pretty much... Suggest raising it back to near stock ride height. It looks a bit boy-racer slammed that low. Doesn’t need it for handling - just add a rear sway bar and it’s good for street. Great work overall and your attention to detail is excellent!

Great job rolling the fenders! I agree with you though, go ahead and raise the front 2-3 mm. It'll give you just enough cushion to make sure you don't have a problem.

Try Complete Wheel Repair in Seattle for the color match. They can paint it without stripping the entire wheel. Everyone else in the area will say they need to strip it. Love the channel and especially that you’re local! Props from the 206!

Great work and I always enjoy watching. I wish you would put in a concrete pad to work and jack on to keep things solid. I also noticed you slipped the rear wheel under when working on the suspension arms but did not see anything when you rolled out the front guards. I assume you put stands under to avoid trusting a jack but if not please do it.

Hey Tim! Love your videos dude 👍 But one thing I gotta say bro... It pains me to see that you don't have at least a quick jax system to help you work on your rebuilds, You would've definitely noticed that bent trailing arm the first time if you had been under the car and inspected the car fully. Not hating at all bro, just makes me feel bad that you have to go through that, I saw the look on your face when you realised you had to order another part and wait all over again, you did not look happy 😅😜

I know a place in Arlington that works on rims and will paint them properly without covering up the Motorsport. They also do it for really cheap.

dude they have door skins, you take off the outer skin for access to the interior at least that's how mine works

@@hassanmunir8700 From my experience I think the full door might be a better design because the skins can be damaged easier for those who live in parts of the world with cold climates. Ice buildup causes the lower edges to bend and further rust if left untreated.
