Good to see you young fellows know old school ways of doing things. Can't wait until you get your garage up and start getting tools that make life easier. You both really seem like you enjoy what your doing. Most young ones your age in this area are sitting playing video games all day not wanting to work. You are a inspiration.

Been a viewer since the big influx of subscribers on your mustang build. The new podcast has made me go back through the old videos! This seems like when you guys really started to bring the content home. Good stuff guys.. Also just wanted to say that next summer I should be starting a wrangler build of my own! Thank you for all of the information youve given me!

Just a helpful hint, if you guys want more ground clearance get 1 inch motor mount spacers instead of the skid plate spacers. I run that on my wrangler and it works great!
@joemetzger82546 жыл бұрын
Yukon Blu I just suggested that because I have that on mine. I pulled my engine awhile back to rebuild it and put the motor mount spacers in. Good idea though

Ok. I gotta let you guys know that the rain did cause a delay... but the fact you didn't fold up the camera for a day and decided to use that as an opportunity to put together come shots that you wouldn't normally have is awesome. I've been a sub for about 2 weeks now and am impressed with your simplicity but also your passion. Keep it up.

You guys should invest in a portable abrasive blaster to clean up the frames and axles. you'd get them a lot cleaner and rust free than a 'wire wheel'. Rust treating the prepped frame to stop rust breaking out from under the paint could be a good idea too.. abrasive blaster : www.harborfreight.com/110-lb-pressurized-abrasive-blaster-60696.html rust converter: www.harborfreight.com/1025-oz-rust-oleum-rust-reformer-spray-paint-67970.html

Did you take the drive shaft to a shop to balance it after removing and adding material to it? If not it’s going to wobble
@Nreaper016 жыл бұрын
For being beginners, you guys do good work. You do a lot of little things wrong but with more experience you start to see that. Especially if you keep doing these rebuilds. I've been working with Jeeps for 20 years now and I'm still constantly learning to do this day. Piece of advice though, try getting in contact with someone more knowledgeable then you on these vehicles. Pick their brain apart. Ask them all sorts of questions about the specific vehicle you're building. It will make these builds in the future a lot easier for you, more fun and the final product will be much better. The only thing I truly don't like about what I see here is some of the info you're telling people is flat out wrong. Other then that keep up the good work.

Love the videos I’ve been watching since the beginning. I have a question though. Why did you guys put a transfer case drop in? It’s a rubicon so the tcase has a fixed yoke so you shouldn’t have any driveline vibrations so why add the tcase drop?
@goonzquad6 жыл бұрын
Anthony Pagnanelli I believe It’s always good to have a good driveshaft angle to make sure it doesn’t bind when flexing and off-roading, so I guess the drop won’t hurt but only help in my opinion. May be wrong

Richard Gould Definitely from trial and error, but research always needs to be done also. It’s really fun once you figure out the ins and outs and start getting connections for information.

If you took off the weights on the driveshaft to paint it you are going to have to have it rebalanced. Unless you measured or marked their location beforehand.

i was with yous until this.. a minute of begging for donations because its raining?? come on now just have fun with the channel and let it grow naturally throw your patreon link in the description and a couple ads in the video not like its costing you the vehicle and parts price, youre doing that wither youre recording it or not i know recording and editing is time consuming but still..
