REBUILDING A WRECKED PORSCHE 911 GT3 | PART 7

I bought a wrecked Porsche 911 GT3 which was involved in a big accident in the US. It as previously owned by KZbinr Adam LZ. Even though im from the UK i took a huge risk and bought the car from auction without seeing it. Ive since been flying back and forth to bring parts and finally fix the Gt3 for good. But todays the i get this back on the road for good.. but it didnt last long.

Yes it would be apart from one important detail, it's not just Matt and his dad. It's his hands on team of people we don't see with his multiple car lift's with god knows how's many payed professional technicians doing the work that Matt never mentions in the videos. End of the day he just the face of this impressive every week amazing rebuilds of super expensive cars. This is nothing amazing my grandmother could do what he claims with a team like his. Driver assist camera is placed on the top center of the windscreen. Probably your car has the PDLS lights or driver assistance package like lane keep assist or traffic sign recognition. So i would suggest checking near the headliner

@@Money37945 when I was 19, with the help of my mate and lots of advice from older mechanics, I changed the engine of a 205 gti, on my parents drive. Sure I made loads of cock ups, but it taught me loads and the only reason I tried, was because others gave encouragement and told me it was the best way to learn. Yeah Matt has got good facilities because he’s got successful, but the point, which you’ve clearly missed, is that he’s having a go at something he’s no expert on and pulling it off. I know most of us will never be on the level where we are rebuilding super cars. But KZbinrs like Matt show that if you’re willing to have a go, you can do something you’ll be proud of. You don’t need expensive facilities or tools to do it either. Not that I’d recommend it, but when fixed my Peugeot at home, I used bricks for axle stands.

As someone who suffers from bad paint/Bodywork OCD I can almost always pick out NON-OEM paintwork. Even the highest of quality. Hate to Poop on anything Matt as I love the channel/concept as a regular guy doing repairs to cars that we all dream of owning someday and making it NOT seem impossible any more. Everything else seems to be of top (Porsche level) quality parts and repair quality. BUT!!! @12:50 the lights don't lie. That paint job (even if not color sanded/buffed) is gonna cost you. You could sell this thing and people have no idea it'd been in accident with how the rest of the repairs have turned out but the paint don't lie. I'll keep watching of course and hope that maybe, just maybe you have the best sand/polish person the world has to offer. Best intentions, not hating, actually jealous and love the channel. The camera work, edits, all of it are spot on and super entertaining.
