The cat bed at 37:56 was too precious! Got to love those fur babies! A German Shepherd, Doberman, and a cat appear before the king. The king greets the three and asks each what they believe in. First, he asks the German Shepherd who replies "I believe in discipline and loyalty to my master". King says " this is good, you can sit here at my right hand." Next he asks the Doberman what he believes in. The Doberman replies "I believe in love and protecting my master." King says "Wonderful, you can sit here at my left." Finally King asks the cat what he believes in and the cat replies "I believe you are in my seat".

Andrea, just a suggestion - if you put the tray under your pot with jasmine (something like plate for pots) it will stop water from just running through the soil.Those trays keep some water in it and soil eventually soak it all in.

Is that just a temporary home for the lillies and iris under the olive tree? Do you intend to harvest olives from that tree? If so, you are not going to want plants underneath. The arum lillies will love any damp spot you have, though they are extremely hardy. The iris need full sun and should be planted very close to the surface. Cut the iris leaves back by about half to help them re-establish. For the same reason remove all the lily flowers and reduce some of the foliage. They will look a bit shabby initially, but in the weather you are having, they will pick up really fast. Don't put the picked lilies indoors or leave them lying around where your cats can come in contact with them - they are deadly poisonous.
@TheIndigoEscape8 ай бұрын
We don’t intent to harvest from that particular olive tree as it gives a lot of privacy. We want that area more as an ornament place as it’s the entrance to the property. We have another 21 olive trees we can harvest which are at the perimeter of the property. Calla lilies are somewhat toxic but aren’t poisonous as Easter, Stargazer, Asian and Tiger lillies. The cats don’t seem to be around them either.

I might be completely wrong here, but won't there be an increased chance of attracting bees/wasps nests and other critters by closing the top of the container? It will be a nice dark/weather-proof space for them... Plus, in the summer wind could blow through it if you left it open. Again, I could be wrong. Love the channel either way. Hi guys, shouldnt you be doing the pocket holes from the outside?:) I think that will hold the boards together better
@TheIndigoEscape8 ай бұрын
It mostly a matter of convenience. If you have pocket holes that are going to be attached in a small area to reach for you (drill), then from the outside would be easier. Structurally, it doesn't really matter if you use the outside or the inside. We filled the holes with wood filler, sanded them and painted them. If hey were going to be shown, maybe better to be on the outside as well.
