I'm sure you'd be able to make a LOT of videos off them. Think about it, all these people had car makeovers for a reason: THEY COULDN'T TAKE CARE OF THEIR CARS IN THE FIRST PLACE. Then you GIVE them an effectively 'new' car, but what changed? Nothing. They still can't take of their vehicles so they thrash the ones they just got. I bet you check on them and all these PMR cars are trash.

I think Car related remotes are in some other league of remotes where people dont lose them. I bought an 89 Chevy conversion van with a TV in horrible shape (maybe not as bad as this caravan but bad) and the remote was there, same with a 2008 Mazda 3 with an Eanon center consoley navi thing... also seen quite a few that I've bought off craigslist with the garage opener still on the visor and a 2-3 times I called or emailed them to see if they needed it (those things are expensive) and they told me it wasnt even theirs and mustve been there when they bought the car

Jared is a total Chad. Got an early start but did it for the content and recorded everything. Just with less flair. Also worth noting that while the ATF trick works extremely well but is not advised on modern stuff with tighter tolerances or diesels. A good synthetic will yield the same results over a longer term. I have done the ATF trick countless times but I do it on a fresh oil change with a cheap filter and oil, I'll run it for a couple tanks of fuel and then repeat as necessary until I'm satisfied. Then follow with a good synthetic and a higher end filter.

The PMR crew always had the basic functions subcontracted to mechanics, and then went to work on their customization after. That way, they could do car after car; sometimes squaring away a whole season of episodes in a couple months -- And get back to customer business the rest of the year while MTV did other production elsewhere.
