We travel through an area of the Atlantic forest when we go to the beaches here in Sao Paulo State, Brazil. It rains a lot in the area cause it is also a rain forest and after the rain it smells so good! We can smell the wood of the some trees and the native flowers. But every year we can see people killing the forest little by little. It is very sad. Thank you, Ecosia. God bless all the people involved

Es ist einfach so schön zu sehen, dass es noch Menschen gibt, die auf große Gewinne verzichten, um die Umwelt zu retten. Sowas ist heutzutage leider nicht mehr selbstverständlich.💚🌳 Its just so nice to See, there are humans on the world, that rather plant much trees the getting a millionaire. Aside from this vital work Ecosia (and those who use it) are doing, it's also absolutely imperative that people become vegan. Otherwise, no matter how much forest is recovered, animal agriculture will continue to destroy and degrade the land. Demand for beef is creating this problem, and while patching the Earth's wounds is extremely important, we MUST stop what's hurting it in the first place.

When we see the reports of the current drought in the Amazon basin and the devastating effects for all life, including the human variety, you would think locals & politicians alike would begin to connect the dots (in a meaningful] way of the impact & financial costs of rampant, unchecked deforestation, development & corruption in the region. Brazil is seeking to generate clean renewable electricity from hydropower, but if the deforestation & unwise developments aren't grappled with asperity, that will remain a distant dream. Climate change waits for no man or woman.
