As Jetstar5224 said, find the CB for that AOA heater and the Pitot Static heater CB's and pull them yes, but also collar them so they cannot be accidentally reset. It is so cool to see the progress on this iconic airplane.
@Turboy658 ай бұрын
I hadn't thought about it much, but clearly there going to be a lot of things to do to make this a safe and properly functional driving Elvis museum. Cut power to the heaters, rig various controls and sensors so they don't show errors, you need an avionics specialist to manage all that!

G’day from DOWNUNDER. You make these videos as entertaining as ever Jimmy. I’m hoping to get to the USA later this year to do parts or ROUTE 66 and go to a few aviation museums and airshows. I’ll need to try to catch up!! By the way, a bushies solution to burns (as long as you don’t break the skin) is to use Vicks VAPOUR RUB liberally on the burnt area!! I’ve proven it many times and carried a jar of Vicks in my flight bag for many years. The shorter the time from the burn to application works best and essentially ALL pain is gone in about 15 minutes. I’ve proven this too many times. Cheers Keith

Hey Jimmy, as I’ve been in a bunch of jets due to working the ramp at KFPR, I’d think there’d be actual cabin lights other than the reading lights. As you were walking down the inside of the jet, there’s what looks like light strips by your head and those should illuminate if that’s what they are
@oliverbanford6 ай бұрын
What a waste, that jet should have been donated to a museum or have gone to someone who could afford to restore it to a displayable standard. Heart breaking to watch it being mutilated for KZbin views.. it's a sad world we live in these days 😢

Then buy it and restore it. Should only cost $5 million or so. To get the engines running (they’re in another museum. Only 2 left in the world) then another 10-15 to get the other gear needed. Installed and running? Who knows but to actually get that airframe flight worthy? I don’t wanna know. If you feel that strongly you should buy it and make it “not a waste”. I think it’s an upgrade to make it an RV because it sat decaying for eons with no peep from you. Now he should spend millions for you to feel good about a jet Elvis was never on? Gtfoh. This is the best it’ll ever get for that plane. It was up for sale for YEARS. Nobody gave a shit. If anybody gave a shit and it was truly that “special” I’d think some rich asshole would’ve bought it but you have a regular dude put up a shit load (in normal dude world $250k is a bunch of money) for a plane NOBODY WANTED and is turned into a useable bus, and now that upsets your lil feelings? Offer him $500k. I’m sure he’d be happy to get out from under that cash draining project. Now’s yer shot, show us what ya got scooter! I believe in you! You can do it! Go !!!!!
