Much love to your friends going through this time. I still live in Illinois and grew up in the burbs, my parents lost all their records and comics too in one of our many basement floods. My dad had been living in St Pete for the last few years and just moved to Atlanta partially to get out of hurricane territory and they still got quite the rainfall recently. I’ve been sleeping on those Meshuggah reissues, one of these days I’ll get em.
