Where I live the termites would eat that wood in a couple of years, anywhere the wood touched the ground. Northern California in the mountains at 3,500 ft.

We get em here too. But I have never had them chew up Ground contact rated treated lumber, they have an insecticide in them.

Great to see you up and getting things done, looks like your health is back on track. I noticed with your Mill track you've extended it, and moved the end bunk, good idea, I've been looking at getting the extension for mine so I can do up to 6 metre logs, atm can do up to 3.1, but as my Mill is in my workshop atm, and even though there is a closed off door that will allow me to get 3 metre logs in, I have to check if I can open up the wall for a 6 metre at least roller door, otherwise I'll extend the back of the shed to make it an area for loading logs, and roll them in like commercial mills do, mainly to get out of the weather. I noticed also, that your track doesn't have the same legs where the bunks are like mine has that allows fine adjustment for levelling. woodlandmills.com.au/product/hm126/ is the MIll I got, with the 14.5 HP motor option, and it's been fantastic so far.

Only other thing that would make the Mill better is being portable, but I have a plan for that. We're looking at getting a car trailer or low line trailer for animal transportation (Goats) so it's not high and to make getting them on and off easier. So my thought was to modify the bed of the trailer so it has tracks with removable bunks, and can also have the tractor loaded onto it, which would help with tractor maintenance, doing slashing jobs for people, and to be able to load logs onto the Mill, and not have to have the Tractor registered for road usage.

I know you're not at your best but I would have put some gravel down ( maybe 2 inches) just so it would drain off and sink less?? - Maybe not??

That would have been OK if I had any gravel to put there.

Sorry, but I don't think that will solve the problem long term. They will sink over time. It's just the way the earth and Moon effect each other.. cement slab is about the only sure way and even that's not perfect.
