Was tough year in Iowa because this nest collapsed along with the Denton Homes nest was blown out of its tree during a strong storm. Fortunately all three eaglets survived and spent last summer at a rescue/rehab center and the two males and single female were released in mid September. You can find video of that nest being flipped on YT. The adult pair has rebuilt a new nest in the same tree for 2025.

I remember seeing someone post that they're hoping to see eggs by or before February 16.. But lots of copulating must ensue between now & then

I think last year at this nest they laid eggs in late February and DN17 and DN18 hatched the first week of April

that nest collapsing was awful. I am a residential architect, and it felt like when I am hired by people lost their house to a fire. So glad it was able to be rebuilt and the eagles are home.

Have you considered not rebuilding it and see if the eagles would rebuild it? On Florida cam exactly this happened after a Hurricane.
