Great video series DCS Wings! Curious, was this done due to blown head gaskets? If so, what were the symptoms the car was experiencing? I Agree with StudioGoldsmith, no need to shorten the videos! Lots of information from watching the whole video!

The issue of oil and coolant mixing was traced to the O-ring behind the cam plate cover crossover pipe. While the engine was out, I decided to strip it down and rebuild it, replacing seals, O-rings, and bearing shells. I did not replace the piston rings since they were within spec and showed no wear. I simply cleaned the carbon deposits and reinstalled them.

Cylinder walls look exactly like mine, 75k miles

105k miles on mine. the engine ran great before taking it out and addressing the oil and coolant mixture - looking for honest feedback on the videos - make them shorter? edit necessary footage? are they too long?

@@dcswings I would say don't cut the rebuild clips too much, it's good to see everything you are doing.. Maybe if there's a lot of repetitive stuff like unscrewing a head or cam girdle, they can be shortened. Also if you have some insight as to why you are doing something a particular way, it's helpful to state it in the video. Just my thoughts
