very true, TALENT-wise. but the rules were completely different back then. A lot of ways players use to score now would be impossible in the 80s (ex: carrying the ball would be called a travel 90% of the time, and jumping into a defender to draw a foul call). its like how defenders nowadays are so much more skilled than they were in the 80s, but the rules made up for the lack of talent. Defenders now are literally handicapped by the way the refs call fouls in this era.
