I am very proud to see that you are staying the course. I didn't figure you for a quitter. It is not how well we do with the fame and fortune, but how well we do with the rest, right? We aren't long time followers only b/c we just started on the KZbin network recently (mostly separatists in this camp!), but we (my kids and I) are dedicated watchers now. You mentioned once in the last few weeks that the channel was not "profitable", and it appears you have reevaluated what profit really is. Much respect. We have learned a tremendous amount from watching your hands on application of the theories we can otherwise only read about. When I came up, the Boy Scouts was all there was. You have already become an iconic part of the standard fare for bushcraft education, without millions of dollars in donative support like that group. One man, dedicated, with a vision = difference. The networks will be calling, and the money will roll in. Be patient, and stay the course. I hope you are still doing this when you are old and gray my Man, that is living! You are making a hell of a difference, even though you may not always be able to see it. Few lead by example, and you do. What you seek is just around the bend.

Your videos definitely helped me when I went camping just a few days ago. I had to tie my tarp to a ridge line over my hammock. I tied my bowline, passed a small section of rope through and slid a toggle through it on one end. Then I tied my truckers hitch on the other end, and added two prusik knots with two toggles to keep my tarp secured on the ridge line. In my pack I keep in my vehicle I did have some stakes so I used those instead of making my own from scratch but it was already pouring down rain at the time. But like you say if it ain’t raining, we ain’t training! I love your videos and hope to continue seeing more of them. Semper Fi boss man! P.S. I miss seeing your son in your videos.
