I always dig these as a backup and have practiced a couple of these a few times. I should probably practice them more often, to be honest. I'm lazy, so I like to keep 2-3 normal rat traps in my bag, with a small hole drilled through them, a few 16p nails, and packs of single serve peanut butter. Tack rat trap 5-6ft up a tree with a nail, smear on peanut butter, set trap, walk away, and wait. I've eaten a whole lot of squirrel this way over the past 30 years... But, you're stuck with only eating squirrel. These traps widen your menu selection a little more.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to make a series of yt shorts showcasing each of your common knots. That way when you tie one in a video, you can just link the short during the video. This way people who want to learn it can do so quickly, and those of us who already know it aren't slowed down during the video. It also would help us revisit some of the knots without having to search around for them.
@charlesgoodroejr9540 Жыл бұрын
He has full videos on knots.
@tonywentoutside Жыл бұрын
@@charlesgoodroejr9540 Yes he does but the point of linking shorts during the a video such as this would allow people who are newcomers to quickly learn that specific knot and he wont have to pause to either show the knot or say "youve seen me make this a thousand times".
