Keep up the great work, thank you for your service to our country. And may I add a illustrated field guide printed on waterproof material produced by you would be an outstanding addition for your viewers .. so many times guide books are poorly illustrated with crude drawings .. a step by step photo illustrated guide book with your clear instruction would be a great aide to have in anyone's pack

Just bragged over at Girl In The Woods that you're my go-to guy for bushcraft/survival videos on knot tying. You always make it so very visually clear, you go over it in different ways, and you explain what the uses are. For that, I salute you, Corporal! (Mind you, your other stuff is great, but your knot-tying demos are supreme.)

Excellent choices, Shawn. Besides the bowline, the trucker's hitch, and the reef knot, my favorite knot is the constrictor knot. The constrictor knot is much more useful than the clove hitch and the timber hitch. But I am here to tell you that a knowledge of knots is one of the best survival tools that you can possess. Anything that can convert a simple rope into a dozen different tools is an invaluable survival skill. I really appreciate the information you provide here and I'm a loyal subscriber.

I couldn't get the curtains to totally close so I made a bushcraft zip tie from a length of paracord using a basic slip knot and was able to secure the curtains.
