Just so you know, as someone that doesn’t hear super well, when the automated captions are turned on, it renders the raindrops as *applause*, which I thought was hysterically appropriate; especially when you got the fire going 🤣

I've seen ppl say they don't like this channel cause the Corporal is too cocky. People need to realize there is a difference between being cocky and confident. I have went back and watched almost all his vids and all I see is someone confident in their skills and abilities and there's is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Matter of fact it's one of the things I like most about him and his channel. Keep up the great work sir love your channel! ✊

The amount of work that goes into this when you really think about it. This man woke up, put on his boots, walked through mud, turned on the camera, walked back though the mud, took off his boots, got back in bed, just to record himself getting up, putting on his boots, and walking through the mud. Lol, love your stuff Corp

I nearly fell out laughing when you flashed "The Grim Reaper" ☠️ from Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey!! My kids thought I had finally gone over the edge. LOL. Now, to give you something to laugh at Corporal. One of the times I made a little tarp shelter for my fire, similar to the one you made. It had been a long, tiring day and I really wasn't paying attention to the Chunk of wood I threw on the fire. It was a big piece of my fat wood ( fat lightered as we say it in South Georgia). I dozed off right afterwards and woke up a few minutes later to the blazing inferno that was my tarp. The rain and my combat boots put it out. Needless to say I pay more attention to where I set my fat wood 😂😂. GOD Bless you CPL 👍. RANGERS LEAD THE WAY 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅🦅

Hey, new sub here. You are one cool dude. I am now a very old fart with memories fading into the dim and distant past having lived a life in the wild much like you do now. I spent an untold number of nights outside, maybe thousands, including two trips of three months each and one nearly a year. I rode a bicycle from Florida to California and lived on an island in the Bahamas. I sailed extensively on a small sailboat, once through a hurricane single handing. I miss those days very much. Through you, I can live some of that again. Tell you what though, I rarely ate as well as you do! Ha. Thanks so much.

But we are traveling with a fully stocked (both food and cooking equipment) living quarter horse trailer. Memorial Day 2020 - Thank you for your service!!! I thoroughly enjoy the videos you do. I see them as instructional and inspirational. Well done. Over the time I have watched your videos, I keep thinking you need to have a TV series and a few other things that would increase your brand and its awareness, not to mention some other revenue generating opportunities. No BS. I'm being absolutely sincere. You have a great product and present it well. There should be more interest in bushcraft for the sake of teaching people how to survive on a basic level, how not to panic and how to use what is around you to sustain yourself, make it enjoyable and simple. I truly wish you more success on this endeavor, I think it is great entertainment and teaches valuable skills. Only critique, with your potential knowledge of what and how the land can provide food, that you not resort to consuming a stick of butter and a pound of bacon. That will catch up with you (I hope not). Feel free to reach out if you wish to know what my thoughts were about growing your brand. Thanks for all the videos!

Food tastes better in the great outdoors. The body seems to benefit more from it. Improves everything.

I use my food processor to cut slices of red potatoes, and yams. and regular potatoes.. then i slice up onions, shallots... All of this gets placed in the food dehydrator with fresh basil and rosemary.. Once these pieces are dry, they go into a ziplock bag... At the camp site, i put wild rice, along with the dehydrated potatoes and onions. Add water.. in a 2 quart cast iron kettle.. hanging over a parabolic mirror on sunny days (no wood or fire needed) . or hanging over the fire with a tripod/chain. Let simmer.. it is much lighter and easier to pack in dehydrated stew ingredients..

LOL... Weight is part of the equation, they don't weigh as much as you think. I'm not hiking... My trailer has a 300lb capacity. and i live in an area with very few hills.. I'm not worried about weight (as i'm strong) i'm worried about size..(smallest kettle weighs 2.3lbs) When you dehydrate 40 pints of blue berries it is about one gallon.. 72 dehydrated eggs : #10 can...60 servings of veggie soup : #10 can, 40 servings of hash browns : #10 can. and wild rice, Very light, and it makes a huge amount of food. I just need to be able to re-hydrate and simmer food to make it palatable.. I'm a vegan chef and i know how to supplement with foraging. thanks for your concerns.. And I have a well thought out plan for my decisions. I have talked to cycle touring experts and shown them my trike/solar trailer set up. They made suggestions based on my specific needs. I rely on the experts. PEACE and May God be with you and your family.

Smart move to explain to your viewers how we can help you. Most of us aren't up to speed on the inner workings of KZbin, so it makes sense for you to give specific guidance as to what we can do to support your mission. Drive on.

Just like that Bruce Lee quote about not fearing the man who has practiced 1000 different kicks, but the one who has practiced the same kick 1000 times, whenever you do something that could be considered repetitive, I actually appreciate it. It helps to get it embedded in my brain, cement the foundations. Your consistency in relying on the tried and true, simple yet effective tools and skills helps me a lot in having a really clear picture of priorities, and then go from there. It gives confidence to try new things, knowing you can fall back on the basics if needed, and I see that in the many videos where you try variations, adaptations or totally different things.

Semper Fi Marine. Bringing back memories of going to JEST and Mountain Warfare Schools. So much great info learned. But now days the only camping I do is at a Ritz Carlton. Great job teaching the civilians about our USMC survival skills and looking forward to watching more of your great videos. Semper Fi!

Silky's are the best. Folks, if you've never used one of these, you've got no idea how good a little saw can be. Depending on circumstances, its an EDC item in my opinion.

Man, this so reminds me of my Boy Scout days in the 70's! Only difference was we used a heavy canvas tarp. I was blessed to have my dad and 2 other Old School masters.

If you can find them, you need to try Mayan Sweet onions. Like Vadalias, you can only get them in the spring. Sooooo good raw or cooked. And, I don't know many who don't love taters. I'm just glad the Canterbury family is safe. Items can be replaced. Prayers to them for comfort. Thank you for sharing a part of your day with us.
