Thanks for sharing a real world story Tyler,a lesson to remember and being prepared for every situation, makes me remember we needed to adapt several times at our trekkings trough the European alps because of suddenly weather change but we could easily because we where fully equipped🤪🤷🏻♂️

Circle cliffs can get precarious at times, but worst comes to worst you can generally see long canyon from any elevated position, and maybe get a ride to town in a day or two. Love the shots of moki canyon, one of my favorites, even though lamp stand road sucks sometimes, definitely got the sagebrush scratches on my car to prove it

Hey! I remember that trek. That storm hit hard. Got real, real fast. Use my capote to cover you when you used the bow drill to get a fire

Crazy story. So when you do trips like that with no gear are you just drinking straight from sources with no purifying or filtering?
@TJackSurvival Жыл бұрын
Depends on the water source. Basically yes. In recent years though due to liability we bring small filters.

@@TJackSurvival booooo to red tape. although I guess if I'd flown all the way over from Australia and paid the course fee and got sick on the second day id be a bit pissed :D
@TJackSurvival Жыл бұрын
@@davef5916 no one’s ever gotten sick there. My friend Dave literally lives off the water in the springs there. But still it only takes one person one time. Sadly the best experiences in life oftentimes require risk. The key is open transparency and options so each person can accept the risk they’re willing to without coercion.

What an egotistical way to get yourself in a Survival situation.
@TJackSurvival Жыл бұрын
Not really actually. They just needed a break and as the situation changed by necessity the end location changed so that’s how they got lost.
