Recalling legacy of the 8th Nizam | Prince Mukarram Jah Bahadur | 1st Death anniversary

Mir Ayoob Ali Khan speaks with Shahid Hussain Zuberi and Prof Amena Kishore about the book on Prince Mukarram Jah Bahadur, the eighth and the last Nizam of Hyderabad. The prince passed away on January 15, 2023 in Turkey. His body was brought to Hyderabad and laid to rest at the Royal Cemetery three days later within the premises of the historic Makkah Masjid.
The talk is against the backdrop of the first anniversary of the death of the Prince and the book, Echoes from the Past, which will be unveiled on January 6, 2024, at Turab Jung Hall, Salar Jung Museum. Shahid Hussain has earlier written a book on the prince in Urdu, Auraaq-e-Maazi, which was published a couple of years ago. Echoes from the Past is a translation of that book which has been transported into English by Prof Amena Kishore.
