Now that the series 6 and the new watchbands have been announced, we can compare the sport bands and sport loops we’ve had this year.
So Far I’ve reviewed a good handful of Apple Watch Sport bands and loops. (Separate in depth review in my channel).
Here are watchbands that were available the first 3 quarters of 2020.

Thank you so much! 😊 With stainless steel silver compared to other colors, you get micro scratches fast. It’s bare metal so you it doesn’t have that color coat!

Hey really appreciate the review from a new fan in London. Looks like you have the stainless steel watch face and I’m assuming it’s a 44mm? Does it feel heavy when exercising? Does the sport band vs sport loop make a difference to that overall weight? What is your wrist size? I’m not sure whether to get the aluminium version or steel? Would love your thoughts!

Really glad you enjoy the content 🙌 It was a 44mm but I switched down to a 40mm late last year. My 6inch wrists are more proportionate to it and fit the newer solo loops. You can feel stainless steel is heavier than aluminum but I personally don’t mind it. Think of what matches your wardrobe. Do you like your watch to feel like jewelry or a sport watch? I like stainless steel because It looks good whether I’m dressed up or down. Between sport bands and loops, you honestly won’t feel the diffence in weight. Hope this helps!

Even though it appears in apple’s ads, they also recommend not going to the beach with the watch because sand can scratch and also get into little crevices like the speakers and mic. If you must, the sport band is easy to wipe off compared to the sport loop, which catches sand.

Greetings! 🙋‍♂️ It’s a great band! Sadly Apple discontinued it to make room for their newer seasonal colors. Got it back when it was available. I would keep an eye out on eBay for one, making sure it’s genuine of course.

Sport Loops for me are way more comfortable, sadly Apple is not selling Anchor Grey anymore :( i wanted to buy it cause it's a great combination with an space grey apple watch :/ Now i "have to" get one of the new colorways

Because of the video at 2:33 I noticed my husband's watch band had been installed upside down on the bottom section. This was causing the band to catch on things and fall open. Problem solved, thank you.

I dont like the sports band I got the pink sand one with my gold aluminium series 6 & it irritates my skin I had a sports loop with my series 3 & it felt comfortable soft it also did well with sweat way better

Wander Weng You sure can! Series 6 has the exact same sizing system. 😞Sadly apple discontinued that sport loop on Friday. They do a have a lot of new styles to choose from. Hopefully you can also find some on eBay. I often find discontinued styles there. If shopping eBay, look close at the posts because many of them are imitations.

@@SupertechUSA Yeah I grabbed the Series 6 ProductRED along with the Product RED sports loop. I had the series 3 black with the ProductRED band before, and I was tired of the rubber. The loop is real comfortable.

@@johnkaz7755 thanks for the encouragement! 😊 I love how apple designed this season’s sport loops to match the blue Apple Watch. There is often a blue edge on some of them for example. Choose the color that matches your personality since color is subject to preference. Also consider what you’d enjoy matching with your wardrobe. I personally like charcoal as a default and would switch to deep navy or surf blue if I completely want to embrace the blue. Inverness green to match earth tones. Plum is the only sport loop that I can’t have with it.
