Thanks for the review. I love your point of view so much that I subscribe. I found your KZbin channel while waiting for another channel to post their review. Part of what I am posting here will be posted on that other site. I love the show. From the first episode, I was missing aliens or monsters. I told myself I would not watch shows like that anymore because of something I read about white supremacists viewing the creatures as minorities and vowing when the time comes, they will treat all minorities the same as others treat the creatures on the shows. Later, I wondered why I was looking for aliens. People of African ancestry had enough to worry about without looking at the creature's apocalypse. I love the show because of the characters. I hope there will be a way to give us season 2. Thanks again for your review.

I hope you feel better. Thanks for the review. This is one of the only apocalyptic shows I've seen without monsters. Charlie and the other guy was it and it spanned 50 years. It was a positive vision for the future and communities.

@@tacrewgirl thank you and yes! The fact there was no enemy truly sets this apart. George R. Stewart was ahead of his time

Ridiculous scenario where the man they kicked out of the compound magically bumps into the young couple on top of a mountain in the middle of nowhere! Is that the best I could do?

@@1Frst693 I can see how you feel that way. I look at as they were crossing paths regardless. Raif and Heather were already headed that direction and where else could he travel once his truck ran out of gas. Any place else by foot would be a death sentence and he already kinda knew this area. It’s def giving karmic consequences of one’s actions meets 6 degrees of separation

Yea...I feel unfulfilled. Mgm series are disappointing. From goes to slow and this series went by too fast.

@@jannaspringer4258 I can understand this feeling fast especially because the book is complete. Having a 30 year time jump opens the possibility for a season 2 to fill in that space with original material that keeps the tone of the book but add more suspense if necessary. Otherwise this was always goin to end like this bc it’s a work that was written this way in its source material
