Interesting you didn't show DJ's reaction to how the fight restarted after the ref interference. Everyone heard the cup make a sound after the kick, I heard it on tv. Alex reacted by making sure he was good which he was, and Herb checked to make sure Alex was ok, as he should. After the all clear was given by Herb, both fighters touched gloves which DJ notes that as the fights back on. Hill threw the first punch and got immediately countered by Alex, dropped and then the ground and pound left Hill looking rocked. Fights over.

I enjoyed the detailed breakdown, and if you watch the significant strikes it's clear that Alex was not dominating the fight. The ending sequence with Herb stopping and then immediately resuming the fight was weird, and even if you hate Jamahal you have to admit that it's strange that the fight was finished immediately after the ref stopped and started the fight in an uncommon and confusing way.

One thing that you and many others before you haven’t understood yet. You don’t realize that this false sense of control you have is created by Alex’s style. I recommend you watch all his career fights in kickboxing. He always operates this way, and he dodges by partially absorbing the impact of his opponent’s strikes. This way, even if he has to retreat a few times, he ends up maintaining a favorable distance since he is slender. That’s where he catches you. One more thing, using the argument that because you fight, you know more about this is extremely stupid. You probably don’t train alone; you likely have someone guiding you. So it’s a pretty poor argument.
