Did you notice much improvement in sound quality after the recap? I noticed you used electrolytics for the woofers (47uf x 2). Was this a cost or space saving strategy, or both?

hello! grat job! very deep, I have a pair of ns 1000, and i will do the recap for second time, upgrading the caps to mundorf supreme. wich brand and model did you use??

to reach 3.5 uf I will sold on paralel 3.3uf plus 0.22 uf, what you think about it??

I can follow as far as that grey caps for the tweeter goes, but wWhy would you throw out these paralleled bank of metal paper (MP) or paper-in-oil (PIO) caps that are in series with the midrange?

I'm curious too. Those are self-healing caps and will last a pretty long time though.
