As my family and I were watching we all said the same thing! Why kill off Colby when it had nothing to do with the death of John Dutton? NOTHING! I have said it before on the different comments from the various shows. Somehow, someway they are going to screw the ending up just like they have done a lot of great series in the past. It will leave us all unsatisfied and really pissed off. I hope not and pray that I am wrong. The indicator is that the ending is moving as slow as molasses! One more 1 hour show and then the finale which they extend to 2 hours. We will see but I see a big GIANT Sopranos like ending!

The only reason I can think of in killing Colby is Taylor Sheridan wanted to show that being a cowboy is not just the bunkhouse, the branding, the day to day chores but the dangerous nature of the job itself. That aspect of being a cowboy is often overlooked and I think TS wanted to make it clear that it is an ever present part of the work. At any time a cowboy can lose his life being hooked by a bull’s horn’s, falling out of the saddle for any reason in just doing day to day work, getting bit by a rattlesnake or any number of different ways. And, cowboys know this but do the job anyway. It’s their life and their soul.

There is no cop who would leave Jamie alone in that house while they go get a warrant. Kayce just poked the bear and that will not end well for him. I didn’t think they would kill him off now I don’t think he will survive. This episode was a wild pitch for sure. I didn’t think we would see Jimmy or the rest of the crew in Texas again. Their story was neatly tucked away. With the number of episodes left things are going to escalate quickly and I don’t think anyone is safe, I don’t think anyone is going to the train station but death is going to be abundant in the next two episodes for sure.

One thing I want to mention about what Monica said this episode when she said that she has always believes in Casey. She is so full of crap for saying that that is so not true. She never wanted to do anything with the ranch, but when Tate gets kidnapped in season two now she wants their help, she leaves Casey shortly after getting injured and then eventually starts seeing another guy. Rip is as tough as he is because he was unable to rescue his mom and brother as a kid but he will not let that be the case with anymore people that he loves Beth is on the t op of that list ! Are you serious?! My question will fall with another’s… Have you even been watching the show? Keeping in mind this is a fictional television show, with fictional characters… I’ve waited multiple seasons for Jaimie to die… Personal fantasies prefer it to be in a brutal fashion. Not settling on that notion… If you’re the kind of person who can’t understand someone like Beth… someone who can turn pain into a strength, or… allowing nothing to come between your loyalty & servitude to family… even the fact that… life happens, business happens, shit happens… so understanding those things aren’t personal, and shouldn’t be mixed, because it is what it is… then you’re sure as shit not going to understand sibling rivalry mixed with deep seeded pain… nor the idea that… when something or someone makes things personal, bringing your heart into it… highlighting what you love to attack it, take it away, or attempting to destroy it… well, darlin … that’s where soft sided fucks need to just go ahead and get off the train… because the concept of, “showing no mercy”, won’t appeal or apply to them set of folks…

This episode was ass unfortunately. Only part I somewhat liked in this ep was the Kayce scene at the end but even that wasn’t to exciting. With what Kayce did to the hitman and having a gun on his daughter is going to come back biting him in the ass. Kayce has always been my favourite character but he’s a dead man.

No. Kayce put the fear of GOD into Grant. Kayce showed him how he is now vulnerable. Grant went home and changed his drawers. There won't be any trouble from him.

Show went stale when Kevin Costner left the show because he wanted more money they didn't wanna give him. The least he could of done is finished the season for his fans, but the rewriting of it from him leaving really messed with the plot line a lot, almost to a point where the show seems to of stopped being what the original story was and more about Kevin's character John dying, which in the end almost makes the rest of the story seem pointless now from what it built up to since season 1.

Beth had the ability to prevent all of this, but she dropped the ball on the Sara pursuit so she could fight with Summer, then go into Cosmo mode with Rip and make him take her on the cattle roundup.

Looks like Sheridan gave himself some of the best scenes/lines. 🤔

It seems a goal is to kill someone off in each episode, a lousy goal that doesn't promote the story very well. Seems like this season was just thrown together.

Ok I felt sorry for Jamie at first, yes John, Beth and Kayce did some messed up stuff, but Jamie is responsible for John’s death. From watching past episodes all weekend, Jamie is a liar. A different kind of bad guy than the Duttons. The Duttons bad is why I watched the show, Jamie’s bad makes me want him dead. I was glad to see Sarah get murdered. The nerve of Jamie talking about Beth not having kids, knowing he took that from her, made me hate him on a different level. He showed his true colors murdering that Nguyen chick and his birth father. He makes you root for Kayce, Beth and the whole Dutton ranch. The Indians have spoken. But anywho, I believe there’s more foreshadowing of Kayce dying over Rip

Maybe this is an ignorant comment but couldn't Carter and Colby just shoot the horse with a tranquilizer gun before either of them went in? I mean if its going apeshit like that why not?

Colby had to die because of the Hollywood code. Someone professes their love for someone and they are marked for death. The Halloween effect. Starting to believe that Beth was NOT behind the death of Sara.

actually, jamie didnt turn on his family, his hand was forced by Beth for 5 years, you want someone to blame, blame her
@nancydrew1102Сағат бұрын
@@TheGhostofMrArthurs also John is a toxic father . He never treated Jamie as a son or equal to his children . Jamie was always means to mould a use for his benefited . He told Jamie he had to be a lawyer , then proceeded to use him to litigate every case to benefit him & the ranch . He even took governor away from Jamie . Jamie hid his son from them as he didn’t want the toxic relationship for him , nor did his baby momma want that for him.
