Purgatory. I love this tv film. The director, Uli Edell, is German and demonstrates that the American Western is universally seen as a morality tale datimg back many millenia. Americans just funny costumes on it. The story is unique and solidly presented. No issues are obvious. I once tried to translate it into pidgin Japanese for a cowboy movie fan there. Few unique movies are as good as this one. Available on DVD.

Love the movie, but you got a couple of things wrong. Blackjack did not shoot off the bank teller's finger, he hit it with his pistol handle. Also, Rose did not kill her dad with a butcher knife, but rather with a meat cleaver. Showed the movie quite a few times teaching pacifism versus just war.

I believe "meat cleaver" came AFTER butcher's knife. "Meat cleavers have a long history dating back to ancient China " I learn of it while Chinese cooking.

Get rid of the A.I. Voice and you would have a decent video there. A.I. Makes Mistakes like , Arizona Area, instead of Arizona Territory. And it's pauses are wrong. Besides, It lacks a personal touch that good storytelling requires. Use a real person in the narration or don't post at all. Amen .Oh, And nobody "Earns" Heaven."
