I been a fan of giants for 60 years and her is my take : first of all the giants was garbage until LT arrived !!!!!!! And even then ! They didn't draft well ! Lawrence Taylor was the Deon effect, plus Taylor never liked bill parcels ( another white coach with a coaching job but never played or was on the bench ) bill bellicack. Was the water boy / special team coach , the giants never traded for or acquired a star player , because they are cheap ! Plexico Burris's 1. Year ? Superbowl - then they cut him the next? 4-8-1 last 13. The great early start might be the worst thing to happen to this team. It made them think they were something they are not and sign a mid QB to big money. Neal looks like he is not a tackle, maybe a guard. Zero pass rush again. Receivers were never open. Couldn't block. Horrible special teams which is coaching and roster depth of talent. Those things happen. NE lost 31-0 to Buffalo, went on to win the SB. They lost to KC (We´re on to Cincinnati), won the SB.
