This game is a fitting ending to our season. It shows once again that coaching hamper this team all season, and all through the Neil Brown era. I’ve never been so glad to see a coach leave a program. I can’t wait for the rich rod era to begin again. Not to mention in my opinion, the team came out very flat, which once again it’s indicative of coaching.

That call at the end was not correct. The slide is only used for QB's to protect the QB. It does not apply to all the players. Also the elbow or the knee has to touch the grown to be down. Neither touched the ground before the ball was knocked out. Very bad call. Who knows with 8 seconds if WVU could of thrown a TD pass and went for 2. The refs were one sided for sure in this game. Several pass interference calls should of been called on Memphis. But all in all WVU horrific defense was the main reason WVU lost. It was so inconsistant.

For years people have been talking how great this guy was. Like Gallenger all hype and no action. Maybe RR can find something in both if they are his type of players.

Coming down to a coin flip at the end of the game against a good G-5 team you should be warming up against to start the season is not a good look. The team looked detached early on and then came on too little too late. At least they didn’t have a Texas Tech type collapse. The fight and focus has to be every play not just after you’ve dug your grave about 3’ deep.
