Recasting the Voices of Winx Club Season 1

First of all yay I get mentioned twice in this video! *Claps for myself* The voice for the five Winx girls. Mae Whitman was in my top 3 choices for Bloom, the other two would being Liza Jaquline of course her four kids voice and like you said Mae and Liza have a simular cadence with their voice and the other being Kelly Sheridan or our Generations Barbie voice. She has such a cinommon role vibe to her but would also be able to capture the nuances of Bloom's emotions. For Stella, yes her four kids voice would be amazing but if she couldn't come back my three back up choices are Chelsea Kane (Fun fact if she did cast as Stella this would be the second time she would be playing a character named Stella) Ashley Tisdale, with a combo of her performance as Candace and Sharpay I think that would be perfect for Stella and my third choice for Stella would be none other than voice acting legend, Olivia Hack the voice of Cloe from Bratz, Ty Lee, and Rhonda from Hey Arnold. Olivia Hack, captures both the sweet and dramatic side of Stella. For Tecna, my choices are Kimberly Brookes, Jennifer Veal, aka Agnus from Jesse and the voice of Alice on Descendants Wicked World (She has the perfect voice for Tecna to me) and Rebecca Soler her 4kids dub. My top 3 choices for Flora were Sara Nicole Robles, voice of Luz but I feel she would be better suited for Flora's little siter for some reason, Seychelle Gabriel voice of Asami and live action Yue and Alisa Reyes but ultimately the voice of Isabela works the best and it would be awesome to see her play another character who's powers are rooted in plants. Lastly for Musa, my choices would be Kimiko Glenn, honestly her speaking voice that you used has a simular sounding cadence to Lisa Ortiz voice as Musa, Diana Doan aka Lonnie from Descendants or Hiromi Dames but ultmately Kimiko Glenn is the best choice for Musa. The voice for the Trix, I did my fan cast for the Trix and I had three choices for Darcy, two for Stormy and one for Icy. For Darcy, my top 3 choices were Caren Manuel her 4kids voice, then Jodi Benson if she did her Vanessa voice and to show case that Jodi is a very versatile voice actress and that she can voice more than just sweet characters and of course Laura Bailey as Darcy. After listening to Laura Bailey as Lust and hearing her speak she would capture Darcy's dark seductive nature and quite honestly that is on the same as Lisa Ortiz as Icy level greatness. I would have had more options for Icy but quite honestly after watching a compliations of Dubs for Icy Lisa Ortiz without a doubt in my mind is the best Icy voice and she even sounds like the Italian version of Icy. For the teachers, Mindy Sterling as Griselda is the cherry on top of a sundae. I also feel like Griselda looks like Mindy in animation form and you could not have picked a better option than wonder Mindy Sterling. For Griffin's voice yes I love Grey Delisle - Griffin and she plays anti hero roles well but I also loved her 4kids voice. For the specialists, I had three choices for each, for Sky my choices were Dan Green, Johnathan Groff aka the voice of Kristoff from Frozen and Jesse McCartney. I just feel they would all suit sky very well. For Brandon Keith Ferguson, Mena Mousand and Avan Jogia. However with the last two I mentioned for Brandon I was grasping at straws and I think my first choice for Brandon was perfect because of how versatile he is. For Riven, my top 3 choices would be Will Friedle as mentioned in the video his Terry McGinnis voice would be perfect, Jason Marsden, his Kovu voice would have captured his broodiness perfectly, and David Gallagher Simply because his voice as Riku also would have been perfect. For Timmy my top three choices would be Jack Desena aka Sokka of course, Jason Marsden because is notorius for playing really dorky nerdy characters, such as Richie Folie from Static Shock, Bart Allen from Young Justice and Felix Renton from Kim Possible (Friend in the Wheel chair). Of course my third choice for Timmy would be Will Friedle, because he would be able to capture Timmy's awkardness and silliness. I agree with the rest of the choices on this list. Great casting choices as always.

So. Here is my winx club recast Bloom - erika harlatcher (mostly with her kaede akamatsu voice. It's too perfect to pass up) Stella - marieve herington (I think a voice that can sound regal at times is really befitting honestly) Flora - (I'd keep her WOW actress. It fits honestly) Tecna - Kathlyn glass (I love her job as kyoko kirigiri in the anime English dub of danganronpa. She could still add in the cold attributes. I'd pull a webby vanderquack situation where she's British but has an American accent. I love the idea) Musa - kimmy Co glen (lena is her best version of musa) Icy - (I'm going with cassandra's voice in the tangled series. It fits the murder hungry side of Lisa. Meanwhile it has the sarcastic cold as ice "I don't care" attitude from the nick dub.) Darcy - Cindy Robertson (I think giving her a deceitful sweet voice fits perfectly. She is a manipulator) Stormy - carli moiser (i found an actress who can be more aggressive than lisa ortiz. And its carli moiser. Her genocider syo voice in the danganronpa anime dub on funimation.) Sky - johnny young bosh. (I think his hajme hinata voice fits well) Brandon - George grant (I'm a danganronpa so yeah. Fight me) Timmy - Ben shwartz (watch randy cunningham 9th grade ninja. He is adorkable) Riven - Roger Craig Smith (I think sonic boom proves he can act like a jerk pretty well) Faragonda - Griffin grey (I think she could sound sweet as honey.) Grizelda - (I'm keeping her nick dub voice) Wizgiz - (keeping the 4kids voice) (BTW the other staff keeps their nick dub voice) Saladin - Mark Oliver (If anyone is a lego ninjago fan then yeah. I went for the easy sensi character.) Kortatorta - Patrick seize (I like his danganronpa nekomaru voice. It's not comedically terrible and it fits his likable nature) Griffin - Catherine tate (magica de spell as a witch headmistress) Edoltrude - carrie walgren (it's an Easter egg) Sarah - cristina vee (her voice job as homura works) Mike - (I'm keeping the nick dub voice) Vanessa - kira Buckland (SHE CAN SOUND LIKE A MOM!) Mirta - Sarah williams (I think sayaka miki embodies the best of all versions of mirta) Lucy - wendee Lee (I think the voice for characters like miu iruma or athena cykes. I think the miu direction fits with Lucy being kinda annoyed half the time) Diaspro - Veronica Taylor (i grew up with the nick dub but i actually like this voice) Knut - Mike myers (I know I picked shrek as him. Don't question) Mitzy - erica shroder (i think the voice of erica fits for snobby characters. Especially when doing wave the swallow.)

I still prefer Kimiko Glenn for the role but Shannon Chan-Kent is definitely a great choice. I've loved a lot of her work and she's proven with her performance as Smolder in My Little Pony that she can handle tomboyish characters with raspy voices. She's also going to be voicing Amy Rose from the Sonic franchise and Lisa Ortiz from the 4Kids dub also voiced Amy Rose. Plus, Shannon can seriously sing. Again, I still think Kimiko is a better choice but Shannon would be an awesome choice too. Thank you for sharing.

I really loved your choices for these roles! For Darcy specifically, though the Lust voice from Laura Bailey would fit perfectly, I always imagined the Tohru-kun voice from Fruits Basket could be a good subversion especially if it had a sinister energy similar to her performance as Catherine from the video game of the same name.

Helena Evangelou should return on the upcoming movie of winx club since the movie is starting when bloom like she doesn't know that she's adopted and who lives in the planet earth

I must disagree because her performance as Bloom was so terrible, in my opinion. She has no personality other than confused and emotionless, she lacks any of Bloom's fiery personality and spunk, is bland as hell, and her delivery is so pathetic it sounds like a bad amateur fandub. Not to mention how all throughout season 3, she sounded like she was recovering from a cold. Just my personal opinion.

Yes, I know who she is. She was her voice in the first three seasons of the Cinelume dub. And I have to disagree with you because her performance as Bloom was absolutely awful
