I think relationships should be labeled when you are ascertain of what kind of relationship you want from the person. You realize you want to commit more, or stay as friends, or you may be unsure and linger in that gray area. The issue arises when someone within the relationship realizes sooner than the other, breaks the question, and see that both are on different pages.

Common mistake abt asking for advice or seeking knowledge abt other’s experience is we try to do the same on what worked for them and not do what didn’t. I think relationships should be labeled as soon as one person or both persons are unsure of what's going on... And it's totally legitimate to ask and it's important to communicate to see if you're on the same page... To see if you can keep going or you have to walk away. It's not right to suffer in limbo.
