I’m in love with your style, so glad I found your channel!!! This is brilliant. I’ve been struggling to find ways to keep my mothers things organized since I had to take over a lot of her stuff after she got covid n became bed ridden. I’m actually venturing out of my comfort zone to make myself a planner / organizer/ appt card holder and all in one binder “like” thing, this is great ty for the inspiration n you ARE HILARIOUS I agree about good movies n crappy endings. Brilliant, Elsa! You’ve just given me another use for the Tim Holtz paper I have. It’s a really thick, heavy duty, somewhat rigid card stock that isn’t suitable for everything. Your receipt holder is perfect. Here it is only January 2020, yet I’m already thinking about next Christmas (seriously) and these would make great gifts for several women I know. Some of Holtz’s patterns are pretty masculine, and my hubby likes to keep his paperwork organized, so I think he’ll appreciate having several of these. Thanks so much! 👏

I love the receipt idea plus I love those envelopes as well, going to make one for myself.the paper pad was really pretty, as far as the packing tape on the edges do you cover the design paper as well.thanks for sharing😁

On the 1st one I made, I ran the packing tape just around the edges, the 2nd one I made I covered the entire thing with packing tape and it looked like it was laminated, loved it! I was waiting to see how you were going to put the packing tape on there AFTER you finished it, because you really can't You have had to put the tape before you started putting the nice pics on the cover, because if you put packing tape on there, then you would have covered up the pictures, Really nice and good idea, have to try the packing tape idea...YOU ROCK!

HI!!! I am so sorry, somehow I just never saw your comment. And yeah you can add the packing tape 1st, b4 you add the pretty paper, but I want it to protect the edges of the pretty paper as well. It is see-through so you won't be covering anything up. You can also add some type of pretty washi tape 1st, then add your pretty paper over that. I do appreciate you taking the time to comment. Brenda Smith-Allen fold in half and use as a double page with a pocket each end...? Does that make sense lol? Cut each end open then use maybe 3 on top of each other fold in half to make a booklet wallet thingy and it will give you 6 pages, each one has an open slot giving you 6 pockets, and you'll have 12 pages to decorate. Just an idea that sprang to mind to your question. 😀

Quick question, did you tape the whole page or just the edges?

HI! On that big one I showed you, I taped just the edges to keep them from tearing. But I have one where I taped the all the envelopes with packing tape and it looks like it's been laminated. I made one of these but it didn’t turn out the same as yours. I still don’t understand how to flip the envelopes even those I have watched it over and over. The way you twist it is very confusing to me. Love your project but I guess it’s too advanced for me.

Hi Joanne, I am sorry... maybe this will help...the flap of the envelope, the part that would seal the envelope shut, they have to be facing opposite of each other every time. If you start watching at 7:44 you see the flap, (were I'm laying down the glue) it's laying on the right hand side, when you place the next envelope the flap will be facing your left hand side... this happens around 7:45 on the video. You keep alternating the envelopes so the flaps always are facing on opposite directions. Hope this helps, thanks for watching. Let me know if I can help. Hugs... Elsa
