Definitely one of my favorite introduction themes in video game music B-) This is a still image video, so this is mostly just something for you to listen to :) Mega Man III (along with MM1) had no introduction animation sequences, so this actually is what occurs when you boot up the game (up until the point where you see BubbleBobble). Nintendo developers honestly pushed the audio software past its limits back then. We got amazing gems like the Megaman OSTs, the original Final Fantasy theme which set the stage for the entire franchise of music to follow, practically every Mario game pays homage to the original NES theme. It had classics, not just in the games themselves but in the immense amount of music that came from them.

it would have been interesting if MM1 had theme music :') IMO the music is some of the weakest from MM1-6, but still really good music considering the technical limitations. also Mega Man 3 is all bangers, and 4... and 5 lolz 😎 I would include 2, but it has a bad Wily theme LOL (one of the later ones), but everything other than that on 2.. definite bangers - 2 put forth some of the best music the NES had ever seen, and 3 did the same, and also perfected the gameplay. ya! the Mega Man 1-6 series (imo) had some of the finest video game music ever composed. such limited resources and instrumentation to work with, but they did a fantastic job on these - I got this game when it first came out (I was 8 or so), and it left a huge impression on me (especially from a music standpoint).
