Thanks for this video, it pains me that after studding so hard I end up failing 💔😪, I've taken the exams for the 4th time now and still didn't succeed, i wonder how those who succeeded did it.

CORRECT ANSWER IS A, the nurse should question the doctor order to apply heating pad to the patient abdomen. Applying a heating pad to the abdomen of a patient with sudden onset of abdominal pain can be risky because heat may worsen inflammation and potentially exacerbate conditions like appendicitis, where increased blood flow and potential rupture could be dangerous. It’s important to diagnose the cause of the pain before applying heat. The other orders (obtaining an abdominal x-ray, starting IV dextrose 5%, and keeping the patient NPO) are standard initial management steps for a patient with acute abdominal pain to diagnose and stabilize the patient.

Question no 11 ans c or b
@nurseblessing6 ай бұрын
CORRECT ANSWER IS B; manually ventilate through the endotracheal tube If the ventilator alarm persists and the patient's oxygen saturation continues to drop despite checking all connections, manually ventilating the patient through the endotracheal tube is the immediate priority. This ensures the patient receives adequate ventilation and oxygenation while troubleshooting the ventilator issue. Increasing oxygen delivery or calling the respiratory therapist may be necessary but are secondary to ensuring immediate ventilation. Elevating the head of the bed and applying a non-rebreather mask are less effective since the patient is already intubated and requires direct ventilation. clear now , thank for watching !!!

Correct answer is A; Covering the eye with protection is crucial to prevent further contamination, injury, or spreading the infection to others. This step directly addresses the source and containment of the infection, reducing the risk of complications. While the other options are supportive measures, eye protection is the primary preventive action.
