The thing with the Speedy is, they are no structured bags and they don’t pretend to be. They will relax over time as does the canvas version and I think that’s part of the character and charm with them. If you prefer something more structured, I don’t think the speedy is for you no matter what it’s made from.

I got the exact same model of the speedy 25 emprinte touterrelle colour. The bag do have this tendency to slouch especially without a bag organizer. I found a way around this n even managed to get the bag tomaintain it's structure n allow the side pipings to straighten out, u need to stuff the bag really really full when u store it. Get those wrapping LV papers to stuff the bag with Somehow the bag gets the shape back again.

I love my Loewe puzzle bags! I had the mini and traded up to a small which has been the best every day bag I've ever had. You have the puzzle edge bag but since the OG puzzle is being retired it's a puzzle bag so I don't know why people are telling you it's not haha Loewe leather is one of the most durable on the market now as well!!

I purchased the Louis Vuitton Ivy in black leather and wore it 4-5 times. I noticed the hardware turning brown and took it to LV. My SA said they’d replace it with no charge but I just couldn’t believe how fast it had tarnished after using it only 4 times since I purchased it (bought it back in October). Hopefully it gets fixed and doesn’t happen again.

This redesigned style is referred to as Puzzle Edge, though their official online store seems to have dropped the word “Edge” recently. So far in their latest releases, I’ve only seen Puzzle Edge bags. Where I am in Asia, any original Puzzles I’ve seen tend to be past designs and which are either sold out or very low in stock in many stores. The SA in my local Casa Loewe said that they had stopped receiving new stock of the original Puzzle bags for some months now. So yes, it’s all quite a saga! 😅

Yeah i am always very skeptical about LV empreinte leather especially for the bigger handbags. For SLGs not too bad. Rather stick to their canvas for a safer choice. Am thinking of getting the Speedy 20 in Damier Ebene. Loewe that is a puzzle bag but the new design of the puzzle bag isn't the same as the older design. The newer design the flap is like sticking out as compared to the older design where the flap looks a bit rested if that make sense. I think the safe some material or leather on that, meaning they do not need to cut into a bigger piece of leather. So i still prefer the older version which is not easy to get anymore unless from pre-loved market. Yes i love the Marc Jacob tote bag in canvas and leather. I had both. Fuss free. I might be wrong, but I think East-West bags are smaller in height but the width is the same/similar as the original. I don’t know the exact dimensions of the bags but to me, it looks like the East-West version of the Pochette Metis just has the bottom half of the bag chopped off, if that makes sense? Either way - lovely bag!

I'll be honest, I don't understand why the dior flap is a problem lol. I've heard these comments so many times but to me its more convenient than a zip and nothing falls out + more secure. Idk if the alternative is meant to be...just a wide open bag.

Honestly I don’t love Saint Laurent SLGs all that much. I’ve looked at their compact wallets a lot but the grained leather is very very stiff which can often make card slots harder to access. I do like grained leather for its durability but I prefer it to be a little softer which I think LV and Chanel do really well ❤️
