Great recipe for a picnic and shared lunch. I've made a similar version to this using drained canned tuna, finely chopped green and red onions, finely chopped celery, cucumber chunks, peeled, (I don't care for the cucumber peel, or at least remove most of the peel), then I use Philadelphia Whipped Cream Cheese. Stuff the baguette then put in fridge until set and slice. Same premise, just a different meat adding in onions and/or celery. I've even added chopped or grated carrots to the party, and sometimes I'll add paprika and poppy seeds. I mix it up.

That looks like it would be a great picnic sandwich. I would add finely diced red or sweet onion and a tiny bit of stone ground mustard to the mix, but that's just me. Also, what kind of cheese did you use? It looked like Gouda. Something with a sharp bite to it. Still very yummy though. 🤤✌️🖖

I thought it might be Gouda as well, and I agree. I'd definitely char and peel that chile pepper though, the traditional way- the skins are indigestible and cause diverticulitis, not to mention have a nasty texture lol.

Ja fast, aber der Jägerwecken meiner Mutter hatte statt Frischkäse eine Butter/Senfmasse mit einer Einbrenn (Mehlschwitze) und in die Füllung kommen noch hart gekochte Eier und Essiggurken statt der normalen Gurken Am Besten das ganze dann 24 Stunden ziehen lassen - beste Partysnacks überhaupt! 😋

Best cream cheese is Bega brand it's also a great cream cheese to fold into hot pasta so yummy with or without diced bacon , and whatever else you throw in with it. I like the idea of this video except I would wrap in foil and have it hot.
