It is such an amazing and sad thing to see someone so honest. Obviously he's "made it" in many ways so you can argue it's easy for him to act this way but it truly isn't. In many ways it works out to be the opposite, where someone will make money and be corrupted by it and turn into a machine. Reckful gets so much unwarranted hate because he is a REAL person. Someone who calls it how it is and doesn't give a shit about putting a spin on his words and ideas to make them "digestable" and marketable towards the masses. The reason I said it was also sad is because many individuals like this have a hard time taking steps forward in life because to quote him "you end up doing things so well you find no motivation to try them again". That's just one example, but it's something intelligent and self reflective people really struggle from. Regardless I hope you find that motivation man, and keep making content because it gives many people hope in a small way.
@flacidPillow8 жыл бұрын
I agree with all of that. The thought going through my head during the whole video was, "What if he's just bullshitting all of this?" And the thing is, it's such a shitty though to have but it's warranted because Twitch is so plagued by liars and actors. So really I think Reckful is the most honest of the big streamers. If I watch someone like LIRIK or Sodapoppin I always feel like there is something behind the scenes that I don't see. Also, his thoughts on money are so interesting because even though he's quite well off, I feel like his thoughts on money wouldn't change if he suddenly was out on the streets living in a box. It's hard for me to pinpoint what exactly I'm trying to say, but yeah.
@Corkus11118 жыл бұрын
No I know exactly what you mean. It's so easy to see that he does what he wants and it's for the streamers. He's constantly at odds with getting banned etc, or calling people out.. and it's not for his promotion but for his own curiosity/the streamers. Such a breath of fresh air to be honest because nowadays everyone is smiling at you whilst picking your pocket.. or they just have some clear agenda that you can tell is not natural or in character. He's stayed very consistent with the way he has acted from when he was less popular and through it all.

I think Byron's way of thinking and speaking to his chat really personally is what really draws me to his stream and himself. I often have a lot of these same thoughts, including economical and personal thoughts, and it is nice to have something in common with someone. I think this makes him the most interesting and entertaining person to watch.

I understand that he does not think it is.. But, the problem is that he will not be making that money in 10 or 20 years. I could be wrong, but it is a possibility. I am in no position to tell someone how to spend their money. He earned it, so he deserves to do with it as he pleases. But, in the long term it really is. I would kill to have that kind of money. It would be amazing knowing that I can pay for the classes I am in out of pocket. But, (I have said but a lot) this is my opinion, I could be completely wrong about his future financial situations and I hope I am.
@mnx03078 жыл бұрын

To be honest just because you have money doesn't mean you are better. That's stupid how you say people who don't have money are not happy. How would you know . You don't live their life , or have their feelings . Plus , if you are depressed all the time money will not make you happy. I think finding the little things in life can make you happy . I mean, everyone dies and you can't bring that with you. So , what have you really accomplised??

I know its been a year since you posted this, but its measured in how many people think they have reached their dreams, and people in scandinavia have more realistic dreams. They might have a dream like have a ok paying job, nice family and good friends, where people in places like the US is taught to dream big.
