God bless you. I have an incredible amount of respect for musicians who perform in prisons. Thank you for obeying Jesus. And thank you for a truly biblical view of how The Father in heaven sees his children. My earthly father did a lot of damage. And, in turn, I did a lot of damage to my children. And yet I'm still around and so are my kids. Plenty of opportunity for amends to be made. I just have to redeem the time.Only Jesus can break the cycle. Praise God for the blood of Christ.

We humans are not capable of lifting the world up on our own...we need the help/grace of God. But today's world is bursting with people who want to do it alone and *actively* -- even hostilely -- do not want God in their lives. In today's West, Christianity has been progressively removed from just about everywhere and what we have is a post-Christian secular society. John Lennon asked us to Imagine living in a universe where "there is no heaven." He thought Utopia would naturally follow by removing faith in God. How's that working for us so far?

Oh. My. Goodness. This song has always spoken to my broken heart on such a deep level. Coming from a very dysfunctional home filled with addiction, infidelity, lack of affection, screaming and fighting, and then finally the sudden death of my dad when I was 17. I cannot imagine how this ministered to those incarcerated because I know it’s only by the grace of God I didn’t end up there myself. So many broken children in our prison system. I get it. Thank you for pouring into them. I know that meant so much.

I’m no different from those in jail, for sin holds all captive in chains of bondage. The only difference is we can physically be released through Christ. But if you hold unforgiveness in your heart you will never be forgiven and you stay in that bondage. For the father cannot forgive you ! With all that is being exposed in our government do you hold unforgiveness for those who have hurt innocent children. For vengeance is mine saith the lord . We must let them go and pray for those so God can have his way with them ! Are you ready to be exposed before God , his love for you is real and his forgiveness is everlasting, but you must lay down your life in order to receive life and repent turn from you wicked ways . Renewal of your mind by the word of God ! Follow Jesus and walk in faith. Don’t let this world hold you in bondage and the things of this world keep you held down to its ways! Trust God hold fast to Jesus in all you do , give yourself unto God and live your best life !

Reckless is defined one way as "Bold". I also heard "Holy Love of God" when I heard you sing the words. If a Father was trying to save his daughter/son he would have a reckless ( in the way of a bold and determined mindset) and would do whatever he had to do to save them. Nothing will deter him!

It's a beautiful song, but the dictionary definition of reckless is "marked by lack of proper caution: careless of consequences." While the intention behind the song is to emphasize the overwhelming, pursuing, and sacrificial nature of God’s love, the specific choice of the word “reckless" is problematic for many reasons. God's love is not reckless, while it is intentional and overwhelming to understand, God's love is deliberate and always purposeful (the complete opposite of the word reckless). The idea that God's love is reckless or out of control suggests that God acts without control, which contradicts the Bible and the nature of God. God knows the outcome of all situations of all time (omniscient), and therefore, there is the potential for people to misinterpret the lyrics, lead to theological confusion, and, most importantly, it isn't scripturally accurate to say God's love is so overwhelming that it is"reckless" because I don't understand or deserve it.

Ive been a follower pretty much my whole life and ive made my fair share of mistakes... (this is for someone)... however i wondered how people like paul in the bible made such a massive impact with all the things he done that was against God... Im starting to see through persecution and long suffering he was able to defeat the principalities and spirits of evil... i feel like everyday has brought another battle for me and so much so i wonder what i did wrong... but im conquering the principalities one at a time... if you feel cursed or a void over your life just know that can be used to make a massive impact... when you rely on faith no matter what comes your way the "curse" the "bad luck" the "failures" the "false persecution" it holds value to God... Remember your blessed to have life to begin with and its not about the Gold or the mansion in heaven... its about overcoming and helping others make it with you and showing the how precious life is even in the dirt... your valued by God and not only God but by his people... it might not be everyone but when you open your heart there are more than you think...
