Reckless

I DO NOT OWN THESE!!!!!! Well i got my hands on this dvd called the "Ten great champions of the modern era" (of course in australia) and it wasnt very easy to find! But do not just take them, ask first and i will know if you take them! This is the part about a horse named Reckless, he has a very interesting story and an amazing one at that!

What a beautiful horse :') He is one of many horses to prove that an unbeaten horse is not better than a horse that hasn't won every race. What a champ! :)

Ah Reckless! A wonderful inspiration. The only horse ever to win three 3200m races in the one season. The story of this marvelous horse and his trainer will remain the stuff of legends.

I remember the build up about Reckless before the Melbourne Cup in 1977, I was only 13 years old at the time. He was the sympathetic crowd favourite, he captured the public's imagination, with that lovely man Tommy Woodcock, who would sleep with him in his stable. Well, he nearly pulled it off, so close.
