Well as much as I despise Atlanta, GA and Wayne Williams and his parents, I strongly believe it was police corruption. There was so much corruption in the Atlanta Police Department during that time, a cop probably killed those kids. I also believe Prosecutor Slaton was pressured by that idiot Bush to prosecute any black person, even a 4 year old child, to protect Atlanta financial name, and to protect the KKK. I do believe the Wayne Williams family hated poor blacks and looked down on their race. Was Homer Williams ever expected as the suspect? It was always something I didn't like about that man.

I’m on that bridge RIGHT NOW, and I would love to know what liquor store he stopped to. Coming from Smyrna towards Fulton county, the Busy Bee is in the left. And I realize the area has changed in 40+ years but unless he went all the way down to Veterans Memorial/Bankhead, I don’t see any such building. Also, his story changes during every interview. On Atlanta Monster, he claimed he went to the club the same night and then again ON THE SAME DOCUMENTARY, he claimed he went the folllowing night-on the 22nd. Clearly a compulsive liar…and after so long of an incarceration, you’d think he would have come up with an official story to stick to! Oh, to add to my comment, he MAY be telling the truth about what phone number he wrote vs what the authorities stated. Before cell phones were prominent and when everyone had house phones, Smyrna numbers WERE started with 434, 435, 436, etc…

Consider this - In all the documentaries and interviews I've seen WW doesn't spend a great deal of time trying to deconstruct the evidence against him .. he maintains a ‘ one size fits all ‘ blanket argument that he was framed .Well, his attorney was black , his legal team were black , the mayor and chief of Police were both Black and the judge was black …Wayne Williams would like you to believe that these people conspired to have him convicted so that a white supremecist (KKK) perpetrator could walk free … Im pressing the ‘Bulls**t Buzzer ‘ !!

I also believe that Wayne is a smooth liar, and yes, he gets a kick out of it, because Wayne believe he is the smartest person in the room!! I have NO DOUBT that Wayne is involved in these murders, but I don't think he is a killer. I think he was a procurer of young boys for a couple of homosexual/pedophile rings operating in Atlanta during the height of the murders. Wayne was probably a child pornographer, who took nude pictures of boys and teenagers, then pass them throughout the ring, then "clients" could choose a boy and Wayne would take the kid to the pedophile! He knew several of the victims and their killers, and may have been involved with disposing bodies. So yes, he is guilty, but not of murder.

IMO, what has made this so difficult is the crime scenes where the murders took place, only where these poor souls were dumped was known. IMO, another difficulty is that there were possibly, multiple murderers. WBW has all the characteristics of a patsy, but did himself no favors being on that bridge with that cooked up story about looking for an address for a meeting a following day at 3am. That same bridge he was found on, Cater's body washed up. If anything, he may have killed Cater and Payne. He was a wannabe dignitary. Powerful and controlling. Fabricating and illusions of grandeur. SMH. I really wish the parents and families could get some closure on this, by having ALL murderers held responsible. 💯🙏🏾😥

They shouldn't have allowed their children to walk the streets alone but they did,and even after they realized children we're being murdered, they still allowed it,like the woman who told her little boy to go to the store and get her some cigarettes, that was for her to do anyway, not him,or the two little boys walking after dark going home or wherever they were going and got murdered even after they called the police because it was too late, and then the little boy who ends up at the back of the laundry mat and gets murdered, raped first,I think.,etc.....,those kids had way too much freedom to go wherever they wanted to go and not to mention being ordered to run errands, they were also out trying to make a little money here and there and I wonder if the parents told them to go out and do that too, they were poor families so it's something to think about and most boys are sent or allowed to go out and make some money on the streets.

I agree to a certain point. I was highly upset when I heard about the woman who sent her son to the store to get cigarettes. My mom did that to me as well. That could have been me that was killed. To a higher degree point, I feel extreme sorrow for parents who were working 2 and 3 jobs to take care of their kids. We're talking about 12 to 15 year old, NOT BOYS, but developing young men who knew right from wrong, and to definitely NOT get into a car with any strangers, even if they knew the other person with the driver.

I don't think it's okay that they were unsupervised and allowed to go on errands for adults. However, it was a rarity for crimes of this nature at this time. It was simply unheard of. It wasn't ok for them to be unsupervised, but it doesn't justify what happen to those kids. WW either did some or all of those murders. He even looks creepy and does not appear to be empathetic on any level.

hello, Paul. thanks for your comment. I suppose I included the CIA bit as a re-enforcement of Wayne's ability to convince people of some really unbelievable lies. I did put a disclaimer on that section at the end. It was not intended as fact, rather one of Wayne's fabrications. As with everything Wayne seems to say, he has access to just enough "facts" to make one consider and research the narrative he presents. He is a very complicated and dynamic individual. I think at this point, 20 years since my film was made, we can all agree that he is guilty.

@@dougyoung4790 I think Wayne should have gone to prison, but no, I don't think he should have been in prison 40+ years. Wayne Williams was a child pornographer, a homosexual pedophile and a procurer of young boys and teenagers for a sex-for-hire ring operating in Atlanta during the height of the murders. The majority of the murdered youngsters were paid for nude pictures and sexual favors for the members of the ring. Wayne knew some of these kids and he brought them into the ring.

With all due respect, that's pure nonsense. You have been fooled by these agendas driven documentaries. The evidence against WW is simply overwhelming. The is an effort to create doubts around this case because the notion that a black man was responsible challenges their narrative. On top of all that, the killings stopped immediately after WW was arrested.

No he won't. He IS Wayne Williams because to him, he is a wrongly convicted patsy for crimes way more sinister committed by others. It's what makes him "famous." His legacy. AND Aaaand, I can be convinced that he, himself, did not kill anybody but rather he was a procurer, child porn photog. I don't think he will admit to that because it would implicate his father. HOWEVER, when he dies there will be alot more evidence released, specifically, the heavily redacted FBI files as they are with any major conspiratorial case (JFK, MLK). Those files will then point to the killings being committed by KKK, satanist groups, child porn/pedo rings and that WW was involved with those groups.

@@OnlyTheReal13 It is possible that the same person(s) who killed the kids also killed Cater and that that person(s) is NOT Wayne Williams. Many people take his conviction of Cater and Payne as his involvement in the least but those killings, like you said, are consistent with the boys found in the river and those deaths have other viable suspects....his comment when stopped on the bridge is not that peculiar when you consider that it was an FBI officer he first encountered. Why else would FBI stop anyone in Atlanta at that time? Plus, everyone KNEW the bridges were being watched and especially WW who had loose connections to know that type of information. It just makes him being there and the alleged splash all the more curious...true, no more kids were killed after his conviction, just young adults who were stabbed and shot and the victims of street crime but the kids had stopped being killed before WW was convicted the ages of the victims got progressively older and that is in keeping with the dismantling of a child sex/porn ring. First the workers are disposed of...then the older kids who recruited them and once were participants....the fiber evidence is compelling but it carries doubt: the FBI embellished how rare those fibers were. Read the court transcripts and they use phrases like "cannot be excluded" or "probable". Have you ever went swimming and got out of the water and ever notice a thread on you or your clothes? Me neither. So how so many threads could survive being in a running river is beyond me. Even if they did appear on the victims, the likelier culprit was river debris. The flip side is that the fiber makes sense that the victims were around him before their death. As a procurer or disposer-or killer would explain that....this case fascinates me (can you tell?) but I do believe he was involved and he deserves to be in prison for anything from child abduction, pedophilia, child endangerment through pornography, assisting homicide or outright murder.
