Read many comments here that population is the factor in having people like Sundar Pichai and Satya Nadella. That is correct as one of the causes but it is not the primary reasons for the rise of Indian CEOs especially in IT sector. Like any other growth, this has been one in the making for so many years and most visible results are appearing now. Sundar and Satya are just the topmost branches of a big tree who overshadows the stem and roots. Fact is that in US entire senior IT management is run by 'people of Indian origin'. Nowadays there is 80% chance that either CTO, CIO or Sr. VP of any retail, pharma, telecom, apparel, CPG company will be an 'Indian'. Meetings happening between key IT persons of US companies and Indian IT companies executives have more than 70% presence of Indians. Obviously this did not happen in a night. It has its genesis in time when people like Sundar and Satya were mere students and we are now seeing the end product in the form of top most IT management positions in US being covered by Indian origin people.

In India, eggs are considered non-veg just like fish or meat. But in Western countries and Europe, eggs are considered vegetarian. Therefore someone who eats dairy and eggs but no meat and fish is considered a vegetarian, a ovo-lacto-vegetarian to be specific. I'm a lacto-vegetarian and an NRI, therefore I always refrain from saying "I'm a vegetarian" in case someone serves me something with eggs, and instead clarify that I can eat dairy but not eggs :)
