When I was a kid we had a minister for a time who came by and saw that we were playing cards-stuff like Go Fish and Old Maid. He told my mom we would turn into gamblers. The church also frowned on dancing so I was not allowed to go to a jr. high dance. I still remember crying into my pillow. As an adult I'm still not able to fill out a commitment form. My dad taught me that it was nobody's business how much money you were planning to put in the offering plate. That is between you and God. I think that is good advice. Both my parents went on to let us all play cards and dance. I found out they actually met at a dance. Always think for yourself and ask questions. Thanks for the good advice.

Young man, you are articulate and wise! Years ago, I wanted to go back to church and pull believers out, but I never did. I regret it, particularly when it comes to the young adults. I, too, felt that it was a cult, a very loving cult, but never the less, a cult! If I had my life to live over, I think that I would open up a church, across the street. Randy, I do not attend a church as I feel like it has become, at least in American culture, a cash cow on the legalistic side and a concert on the other side. Neither direction seems to promote the Biblical presentation of the ecclesia, which was simply to support one another and to support those around us by loving the people Jesus did. Churches put up walls of denomination separation.

My husband got involved with that cult & I went with him one Sabbath while he & a married couple joined for "worship". All they did was sit around & talk about how THEIR beliefs were right and fawn over "Elder Meyer". All the men had to grow long shaggy beards just like him, the husband looked like a skinny Meyer--2 weeks later, so did my husband. The wife actually said, "Elder Meyer drinks coffee so so do we!" I told my husband it was like sitting around talking to Tex Watson & Squeaky Fromme, about Charlie! Sickening! My husband divorced me because I wouldnt join! But first he totally deserted me emotionally, sexually & financially!

On #1... the problem is that control by 1 leader is very hidden and subtle...not as overt as discussed here. #2... or they say they are better and have more truth than any other church... my cult declared itself "God's gift to the church to show them how to luve a holy life" #3. So so true. #4. I lived on an "allowance" everything else went to the church. #5. So true... in fact, the leader taught "submit to those over you as unto the Lord Himself"..if you dared question... if you dared disagree... you were declared rebellious and had an unsubmissive spirit. Cult leaders use Scripture and Scriptural principles to reinforce their power and control. Most, if not all, cult leaders are malignant narcissists. They are, indeed, wolves in sheep's clothing!

I no longer miss people (because yes, they do shun because it's a cult). My life is FAR better after leaving. I'm productive. I'm not living in fear. My children thank me for leaving...my marriage is better. Those people have NO IDEA what they are talking about. I wish they would all leave. I actually feel bad for them. I know the freedom I have. hey there. i found your videos last night and watched almost all of them already lol. youre very on point with what you say and i can verify after being in the upc for 14 years that what you say is true. i would like to see a video on your thoughts on the use of the scripture in the upc church that says "obedience is better than sacrifice". you hear that scripture a lot in a pentecostal church and is usually used to teach the people to obey the words and teachings of the pastor. thanks for your videos and keep up the good work.
@DivideTheWordBlog6 жыл бұрын
Hey there, thank you for stopping by! Like many verses in Scripture, men/women who wish to control you will use them, out of context to prop up their agenda. Two important things about this verse, a) it was old testament, and b) it has a principle application that does apply to us, but can be misused. First, and most obviously, this was a king, who disobeyed the will of God, through the prophet. We have neither of those structures today, and thus, that 'chain of command' idea is out of context. A pastor that uses that to prop up the idea that you must obey his commandments is twisting scripture. Furthermore, in those days, it took a blood sacrifice to atone for sins. The principal of course is it would be better to obey than to have to sacrifice for atonement. Yet, Jesus Christ was the final sacrifice, our atonement is in Him. Furthermore, the veil was rent when Jesus died, providing a direct access channel between each believer and Jesus. I do not teach against pastors, but for a pastor to take the stand that He replaces the prophet and that you must obey him is perverting his position. Paul said "Follow (imitate) me as I follow Christ.". He did not say, "Obey me if you hope to see Christ'. We should heed the counsel and example of our pastors, insomuch as they are being like Christ, as Paul said. So let me ask, when did Jesus command dress standards, attendance tracking, etc etc ?

I am glad I go to a oneness pentecostal church and it’s nothing as you describe. I do know people who go to pentecostal churches like this and I have Jehovah Witness friends as well and see exactly what you describe. Yet what I find in our particular church is loving everyone. I have cut my hair just recently. I am still a member and teach Sunday school. I see people in our church wear short sleeves and wear jewelry and men wear their hair flipped up in the front. The people I see this in is church members that have been members for years. I’ve never seen or hear our pastors teach the way you describe. They don’t tell us how to dress or to throw out our TVs. They never command us to tithe or pay offerings as you describe either. I donate to charities as well. In our church we actually do shoe box giving and our local angel tree to donate to children in need. I don’t know if we are just an unusual UPC church, but our pastors teach to let God teach you and deal with your heart because ultimately it’s between you and God. They preach from the word. I love the church I attend and am very glad it’s nothing like you describe. Thank you for this video though because there are many cults out there. ...whether they are pentecostal or not.

I go to a similar loving independent non denominational bible based holiness apostolic Pentecostal church that's well balanced, moderate not to extreme or too strict but with some structure on platform we dress comfortable and modest but not too weird, as long as our bodies are covered up enough with out causing lust, confusion to give an example to others We never force anyone to dress all the same we wear what we have lol. It all depends on the pastor, ministry how they run things I been through the other cultic like churches so not all Pentecostals , Christians are bad or alike. I love my church and my pastor he's humble and gentle kind to everyone. They don't pressure us to be there all the time in attendance and don't force us to throw out our t.vs. , internet, tithing is optional and all the other man made rules u mentioned as other cults practice before none of that here no more lol . I thank God I found a healthy spirit filled moderate loving church that welcomes friends, family, visitors, homeless etc.. Without the pressure, judgemental & condemnation enviroment. There's still hope for everyone to pray and trust god to find a good church he will open doors and guide us to a place to belong even with all the church hurt & spiritual abuse that some of us go through.There's no need to turn athiest, or go to other false religions. I tell everyone you have your own mind to do what u want to do Jesus gave us freewill. I'm grateful that I'm out of narcisstic toxic cultic leadership, churches. Now I'm free and still living for God in grace, holiness, moderation, freewill. Everything needs to be well balanced in life even God's word says so in many ways. God bless you all who are surviving and free and thinking for themselves.

I mention Amway specificaly because someone tried to recruit me today and after watching this video I noticed so many patterns and behaviors from these people. The same tatics of a cult. Almost got me in... It sounded so appealing. Until he started drawing on a piece of paper their business model and luckily I kind of understand about finance and ponzi schemes and how I would be ripped off of hundreds if not thousands of dollars if I was more gullible person. By a huge margin the products sold by Amway are consumed by their own team members its ridiculously unsustainable. It was scary at some point when this person asked me what I was doing next week on tuesday. That's when it reeally clicked in my mind that this is the start of brainwashing and I could be stuck in this for decades like there are so many stories about it out there. Thank you for your Content it really says the truth and shows you are educated on these issues 👍

And the "outsiders" can be right in the family. Narcissists will usually have to cut out the family that competes with or has any affinity to not be a member of the group, and it's all about the pyramid of power and worship of the "chosen" ones. It's all narcisissm.

I know of two people who committed serious sexual sins on a church, but we accepted right back so long as they were doing what the pastor told them to do. Another young couple leave the church and everyone shuns them, family members won't go to their wedding, speak to them, etc. It's sad that you can molest and be accepted but if you stop worshipping the pastor and attending that church you are cast out completely. That's a system built on narcissism and pastor worship. A cult.

You speak the truth in your whole fifteen min document. Specifically, at min 12:25, when you talk about the followers sticking up for the leader with “the five fold ministry”, I have seen this first hand. I saw the pastor/“bishop” as he was called, speak against a congregational member during a sermon which irritated the member due to the attack from the pulpit. The pastor/bishop came into the seats and almost went hand to hand in a fist fight with the member he attacked. The “bishop’s” primary follower got between the two and stopped the shouting hands up confrontation. This “bishop” fed on controlling people from his authoritarian position and was extremely judgemental through his so called prophetic gift.

Came across these videos because of questions my wife and I have been having for years. I would like to know what your thoughts are on what we’ve been taught as the salvation doctrine, in particular Acts 2:38.How do we account for the experience we had and being filled with the Holy Ghost is speaking in tongues? I guess I’m a little bit confused at this point but have been wanting to break out of the UPC for years because of the dogmas that are attached to it. So some of the fears that we have are if we leave and find a more “normal church”We know that they won’t be preaching that method of salvation, so what do we believe? Just want to know truth that’s all

Hello Brent, Thank you for stopping by and commenting! That is a really large question, and one I would not be able to answer on a KZbin comment. I would recommend you visit our blog at www.dividetheword.blog for more in-depth writings, particularly important is a three-part series called The Gospel Transition from Jew to Gentile (found here: tinyurl.com/ycvljeoz) It is my belief that the Acts 2:38 salvation message is in error and does not line up with the entirety of Scripture. There is an incredibly important division in the Word of God that happens around Acts 8 with the stoning of Stephen. While the Acts 2 event certainly was real, it was not a repeatable event that needed to take place. Consider two small points and then explore the articles. First, no Pentecostal/Apostolic Church repeats Acts 2 the way Scripture portrays it, do they? They claim that is the foundational message of Salvation and that we must mirror that experience to make Heaven our home, correct? Let me ask you this: Which person have you seen, yourself included, be praying, and you heard a mighty rushing wind enter the house?/ When that happened, did you ever see a cloven tongue of fire set upon the person praying? When they spoke in tongues for that initial evidence, did someone understand them speaking in another language? Those are the three hallmarks of the Acts 2 experience. If that was a repeatable even, why doesn't anyone repeat it? Secondly, after Stephen is stoned (due to the Jews denying the Messiah Three Times), Scripture says, "We now turn to the Gentiles" (Acts 13:46), and never again does Scripture repeat the Acts 2:38 model. In fact, if you look at Acts 2:37, it does NOT ask, "How do I get saved?". Yet, the Philippian jailer DOES ask, "What must I do to be saved?" of Paul in Acts 16. Does Paul answer with Acts 2:38? "Act 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? Act 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." I hope you find peace in your path and journey of seeking God in His Fullness. A bad tree cannot bear good fruit. I hope to hear from you more.

Most of the time when the girls and guys walk pass each other we just put our heads down. Great information!!! Unfortunately I had to learn the hard way and am now living in a situation where I am constantly being harassed/stalked by the "man of gods" imps. This (married) pastor thinks he owns me and that my leaving his church I was leaving god (he thinks he is god). This pastor's imps are always following me around, spreading rumors, vandalizing my stuff, and causing trouble. This "man of god" uses his position as a pastor to have people not only follow me around but report my where-abouts and actions back to him. It is very freighting and dangerous to live like this (his followers are imps and they all have reprobate minds). It's so much easier to quietly exit when you see the signs (which I didn't know until I was in over my head) then to be living surrounded by imps trying to drag you back to an anti-Christ church or punish you for running away from a crazy "man of god" who thinks he is the only true way, truth, or light... Do yourself a big favor and learn your word because these imps twist scripture like no body's business (they also use a lot of catch phrases instead of scripture). Thanks for the information and good luck yaw!!!

Yesterday I dictated an argument from scripture against the doctrine of Calvinism and I asked it to make it shorter and correct the grammar and make it more persuasive. It came back with a pro-Calvinist argument with no proofs even though the doctrine was fully proved by the verses I quoted BUT it stripped the Bible right out of it. Guess who's running the AI?

I just subscribed to your channel and liked your video. So glad I found this channel on KZbin!!! You’re extremely good looking, by the way. Hope you don’t mind my saying that. Not trying to hit on ya!!! Just stating a fact. And, that’s another thing, they kind of made ya feel like you’re NEVER going to be able to be in a relationship because, if it’s not of God, then it’ll never work out. And, even though I know that God has NO problems with me, whatsoever, I still kind of have that small voice in the back of my mind that keeps reminding me that “I’m no good,” and I don’t know, hopefully, one day, I’ll find someone (haven’t really looked all that much, and, of course, that’s gotta change if I ever expect to find someone lol). Just scared of everything!!! Literally everything!!! And, it really sucks!!! Want to find someone that would be willing to love ME as “horrible” as I am (saying that sarcastically, of course lol). Please pray that one day, I will get to experience what it feels like to have another human being love me in a romantic and intimate way (and, by that, I don’t really mean just sex, although sex is usually a very important part of a relationship, too. But, that’s only ONE part of the relationship. And, I’d love cuddling and just sitting with someone, enjoying their company, and just hanging out with that person, too). I want the whole package, in other words. Love is love!!! And, everybody needs to feel loved and cared about. Everybody!!! Anyways, I’m rambling. Sorry!!! Hope you have an awesome day, man.

Hi again David. Thanks for the compliment! I'll take all of those I can get. I hear your heart, I have spoke with hundreds or people who have come out of abusive religion and they all have the same traumatic backlash if never feeling good enough, not being loved, etc. This is a result of performance based religion where you are only loved so long as you perform they way they want you too. The end result or that is once you are broken and work down from trying to measure up, you feel less than, unwelcome, not enough. It's a very very said thing and I hate it all the more when I talk to people who have been hurt the most. I would really recommend three books, which you'll hear me talk about often in my videos. These will be a huge step in advancing your recovery from this hurt and you realizing you are more than enough and loved by God, whose love is all the matters, not what hateful people believe or say. The Subtle Power of Spiritual Abuse Toxic Faith Post Traumatic Church Syndrome If you can buy those books, it will help you. You can also visit a group I write for, at www.spiritualabuse.org. They have some of the books they give for free to those who can't afford them, plus hundreds of articles, resources and blogs to talk about these subjects.

Can you please make a video on how Deuteronomy 22:5 is twisted by Apostolics who say it is talking about pants (which we know it is not.)
@DivideTheWordBlog6 жыл бұрын
Hello and thank you for stopping by! We will be making a video on the subject in the future (camera setup in repair) but we have an article that was written last year about the subject that will be part of what the video covers. Please check out this blog article to understand how we have used Duet 22:5 very incorrectly and dramatically misinterpreted the scripture. I would also like to point out another flaw in the Apostolic view of dress code when trying to use Duet 22:5. The entire book/chapter is about Old Testament laws, and up to v12 it gives very specific codes about not wearing clothes with multiple linens mixed, such as wool and linen. Why are they not following this law, since we believe Duet 22:5 dress ideals apply to us today? Starting at v13, getting into sexual morality, which is taught by the Apostolic doctrines to be eternal laws of God regardless of being Old Testament. However, Apostolic do not follow the laws given in Duet 22:13-30. Why are they not following these eternal moral laws of God? The Apostolic doctrines have cherry-picked Scripture to meet their goals and denominal agendas but gravely misuse scriptures. Apostolic doctrines say that when the Scripture says something is 'abomination', that that is an eternal law of God that we must always abide by. In Duet 14, it clearly defines eating certain animals and sea life as an abomination, and yet God clearly told Peter in Acts not to call them unclean (abominable) anymore, and all those Apostolics are eating those shrimps and lobster tails. Why are they not following those laws? Here is that article! dividetheword.blog/2017/03/07/men-womens-apparel-in-ancient-days-and-today/

I hope it has a positive impact on teaching people that the Word is being misused. Think about it this way, or perhaps explain it this way and see what the response is: Think about the hypocrisy of the 'women wearing pants' issue in the UPC when you think about it like this; A) Deuteronomy 22:5 was written to the Jewish people, all of whom wore robes and nearly identical clothing. It was a ceremonial law about clothing. The ceremonial law was abolished. If it wasn't we wouldn't wear mixed linen clothing Deuteronomy 22:11, and I bet they all do... B) Societal shifts created what we know as pants, and normative dress fads will change again. Men didn't wear pants C) We are not to be conformed to the world. So, why did UPC come up with the idea that MEN should wear what SOCIETY says men should wear (conformed to the world around us), and then when SOCIETY says women can wear them, UPC calls that breaking the eternal commandment of Deuteronomy 22:5 and that we shouldn't be conformed to the WORLD around us?
@JesusIScalling7776 жыл бұрын
Divide The Word Blog Yes, it was perfect. I knew that their teaching on pants wasnt right I just couldn't't explain it myself. So I did some research and found a few videos that were simular to this. I like that you have made a actual article to read on it. I pray it will help me show my mother in law and some old friends why I don't agree with their theology. It's David Bernard who has helped indoctrinate this stuff on clothing & hair. Facial hair on men! You will not find it in the Word that a man has to be clean shaven today! They always gave people a hard time about having any facial hair.

Okay let me ask you a question and this is very serious I have long hair well I have what you would call long hair and I was bluntly told that I would go to hell if I didn't cut it from this Holiness Pentecostal Church then I'm going to and it was from a member not a pastor and he kept telling me that he was so worried about my soul because of my hair what are your thoughts not only on the hair but more importantly for someone acting that way and judging my salvation because my salvation is with Jesus Christ not the length of my hair and technically it does not say anything about a man not having long hair technically do you feel that this is a cult tactic
@DivideTheWordBlog5 жыл бұрын
Hey Scotty, thanks for stopping by and commenting. The Holiness Pentecostal religion is full of these little idioms and dogmas that cause fear and deception, for no greater purpose than conformity to their way. I have to imagine if your hair length was that big of a deal to Jesus, He might have talked about that, like He did with sexual immorality, improper use of money, murder, thievery, etc. The single reference these dogmatic beliefs come for is the misused and misinterpreted verses in 1 Corinthians 11 where it speaks of women and men praying or Prophesying with their heads uncovered or covered. It is easily provable this was speaking of a veil, or head covering and not the anatomical hair on the head. However, even if it WAS speaking on hair on the head, the Holiness Pentecostal system contradicts themselves on this verse over and over again. How? Because they, like their hero's such as Lee StoneKing, David K. Bernard, etc, insist on spreading the lie that when Paul said 'long hair' he meant uncut hair. How is that a contradiction? Well, if long hair means uncut for woman, than it really isn't about the length at all, and even Lee StoneKing claims it doesn't mean length, it means 'uncut'. That then means, that as a man, you can have hair as long as you want it to be, you just have to cut it, even an inch, for they claim a woman who cuts just 1" from her head dishonors God. Once cut, you are fulfilling their definition of long hair(cut/uncut), and thus, this person telling you that you are going to hell over the length of your hair is contradicting his/her own logic (or lack there of) when explaining 1 Corinthians 11. Finally, Paul gave us a clear list of what would keep someone from inheriting the Kingdom of God, and your hair, short, or long, isn't in that list. Fact of the matter is that the teachings on hair was speaking of veils and nothing more, and even in the context of 1 Corinthians 11 it was talking about being in synagogue, in prayer and Prophesying, it wasn't a lifestyle commandment. Hope that brings you peace and understanding. Blessings,

How do you test every spirit? I’m being sincere.....I really want to know.
@DivideTheWordBlog5 жыл бұрын
Grace Be, In reading commentaries on the verse you are referring to, 1 John 4:1, we know and understand that this is speaking specifically of testing teachers, preachers, and elders, to ensure they are teaching truth. What I found in studying this before, is that the real meaning behind 'try every spirit', is to examine the motivations of every teacher. This lines up closely with the admonition, "You will know them by their fruits." Asking the question, "What is the motivation of this person and their teaching?" What do they stand to gain? Do they profit from their teaching? By way of example, a teacher who uses threat of curse for not paying 'tithes' likely stands to gain financial reward for convincing others that God will curse you for not 'paying' your tithe. This is actually robbing the body of the true Gospel, as tithing is not a correct method of giving in the new Testament, the priesthood is done away with. So why would a teacher teach that doctrine? Examining the lifestyle and motivation of teachers is how you try the spirit. The meaning of the word 'spirit' in that passage is motivator, or actuator. What is driving that teacher to teach? Is it faith, humble trust in God? Or is it power, financial gain, psychological gain or the feeling of empowerment? Examine them. Paul taught, "Follow me, as I follow Christ." That left the implication that if Paul stopped following Christ, his followers were to cease following Paul.

Test them by what they think of the Gospel, if they add anything to the Gospel thats the spirit of Anti-christ. If they add anything to the Gospel and what saves us by making you focus back on yourself than its not the Gospel. Its not about what We did for God that saved us!! Its about what God did for us!!

Hello @Lyn I'm not sure I quite understand what you mean by 'I should clarify' but I do appreciate your comment and glad you came by. Naturally, not EVERY Apostolic Pentecostal preacher is the same nor do they all behave the same. I have mentioned that in nearly every video. By majority however, the movement is rife with this behavior. I have been connected to thousands of Oneness Pentecostals, both still attending and having left this system. From independent non-affiliated churches to standard United Pentecostal Churches, they by majority experience many of the same dogmas. To my, it is a systemic disease in the Oneness Pentecostal church.

Then what is the pastors role? Why is he called the watchman on the watch tower, and why does the bible say not to muzzle the ox 1 Corinthians 9:7-9 KJVS Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? treadth out the corn means what ever is not good food for the spirit he is to tread it out , and when he says not to muzzle means not to control what he says what is bad and good, but yes I believe when a pastor says we dont have to do this or to strive to be holy that's when you must run 1 Corinthians 1:21 KJVS For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the FOOLISHNESS of PREACHING to SAVE them that believe.who preaches our pastor so the words are gonna be life not what we think it should be,..... it's so bad to be told how to live but everybody doesn't care how TV does the same....and nothing's wrong with that look how people dress like them on TV and how they act like them on TV doing perverse things , out of the TV has said itself TV affects people on what to believe, why do you think all these actors and actresses are coming out against trump when hes doing What God has appointed him to do they are trying to destroy our Christian nation by devision.....I wouldn't trust them as far as I can throw them, teaching our nation violence, adultry,fornication with others than our own spouse, turning the natural use of men and women ,doctrines of devils,

Revelation is primarily a political work aimed at the Roman Empire that was in power in it's day. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Number_of_the_Beast The more rational historians agree that the book was written to be a clever jab at the Romans, while being written in fantastic apocryphal imagery to disguise it's intent.

You needed to leave the church.. Because you were in a church like you were raised in a church like that doesn't mean every apostolic church is like that. I am a 75 year old woman, I have been in the apostolic Pentecostal church all my life, I love the word of God and adhere to whatever the bible says, not what you say it says. I don't cut my hair because God gave it to me for a covering and glory and I take good care of my hair. in Corinthians it states man should not have long hair and it also states that if a woman was going to be shorn, she may-as-well be shaven. You can say men don't wear short sleeves, but that might be the trend of your church but its not the trend of our Apostolic Life Cathedral, in Huntington WV. So when you talk about your problem in your church don't lump all the UPCI church with your church. We are not made to do what the bible says we do it because we love the Lord and yes the Lord is going to return and the bible states that two shall be in the bed, one will be taken and the other left behind. Two shall be grinding at the mill, one shall be taken and the other left. So you see, there will be some in heaven and some will go to hell. It all depends on how you live your life. The bible also talks about showing your thigh and there are some of us that have been raised in an apostolic church, which some have left the church, in which I had a visit with my best friend just the past a few days in June and the rest the first of July, we grew up together in church until we were 18 and her dad moved them to Florida, yes she left the church, but she did not criticize the church for our beliefs but one thing she did say was OUR PASTOR TAUGHT US THE TRUTH AND NO ONE CAN TAKE THAT AWAY FROM US. So what I'm about to say I don't think you will like get over yourself and trust God not man. If your preacher was that bad, I'm sorry that you went through that experience, but the word of God will stand the test of time and when it all said and done, you will have to chose for yourself whom you will serve, because you will serve someone whether it be the devil or whether it be God. I'm not controlled by man, I read the bible and learn from the truth of Gods word. I truly feel sorry for you because you have hatred in your heart and for that I pray for you. Here's loving God always. Dorothy J Starr

Hello D. Jeannie Thank you for stopping by, watching, and most importantly, taking the time to comment! I can't agree with anything you stand for doctrinally in the Apostolic Pentecostal church. It is a cult by every definition of what makes a modern religious movement a cult. If you individually have found comfort and rest in that, then as Paul declared in Romans 14:22, 'Happy is he in that thing which he allows'. Yet, to say that I have 'hate' in my heart for exposing abuse is a dichotomy, perhaps cognitive dissonance. If the abuse I expose is something you espouse, which it does not sound like it, then you are complicit and approving of that abuse. If you think I have hate because I expose abuse, then so be it. I do not believe or talk about every single UPC/Apostolic church is like the one I left, and in fact, I know my old church was well known for being extreme. However, I have interviewed hundreds of people from 'UPC' churches who have all had the same terrible experiences, and people who are in those organizations, preachers and people alike, post their judgmental hate online daily, so it is there for the world to see. With much respect, and hope for your blessings as well, I must disagree. While there may be moderately balanced UPC churches out there, the system is diseased at its roots and the false doctrines can only lead to more abuse. Paul made it very clear what was going to keep people from the Kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-11) and your hair length isn't on the list. Making people fear hell for their hair is a false doctrine. Did Paul talk about Hair? Yes. Was it on the heaven or hell list? Absolutely not. Thank you again for coming to the channel and commenting - I do hope you'll comment on other videos as well.
