The different droppings aren’t always bad, if your budgie ate some cucumbers expect it to drop light green poop instead of the usual dark green in a couple of hours. It will eventually turn back to dark green after that though.

I think my little girl is sick and she is dyeing.....my vet once told me is nothing that he can do...so my little girl is going to die ....and I can't do snything for her....is breaking my heart seeing her like this....In my country we have vets only for dogs and cats 😭

In addition if it vomit once it could be due to troma ( happened to my budgie during flying ) it's harmless and go within hrs And also poop could be different due to food they have consumed or due to a bath ...so don't worry 😌 just sharing my personal experience (if am wrong please rectify me) may all your birds be safe and happy always ☺️☺️☺️

If u want a trick for cats, put a blanket on the cage of ur little one, they won't realise that there is a budgie in there. 😉 And so sorry about ur lost one, me too I lost one in February and I had him for almost 6 years so yeah it's really hurtful to lose a friend like that.

My budgie appears to be quite healthy. She sneezes all the time though, ever since I got her she sneezes a massive booger and continues with her day. Is this just allergies?

There are many things that can disturb bird's breathing system which can cause sneezing. Idk, maybe it can be an allergy

What are the feathers or disease called at 1:12? That’s how my childhood parakeet’s feathers appeared before his death, but we all assumed he was just molting. A week or so later, he did pass away. 💔

Those are called pin feathers, it's a normal part of molting, however he passed was probably unrelated to the molt

My budgie had been pooping all white pellets sort of poop since a month. Since he had been doing that, he is eating more and more, and poops more and more. He sleeps most of the day. I do try to engage him with activities, but ultimately he goes back to sleep. I don't know what to do. There are no avian in my city, so I told my problem to an online avian. He prescribed Liver tonic, multivitamin, neodox forte, neopeptin, and a probiotic for Gut health. I've been giving him one of these everyday since a week (liver tonic for 3 consecutive days, followed by neopeptin for 3 days, then today's 2nd day of giving him neodox forte), but i couldn't see any improvement. He now plays a little more,but still eats way too much and poops white pellets very much. When this problem started, he had constipation too, for which I gave him liver tonic and gripewater along with lettuce leaves. Lettuce leaves helped a lot for constipation. I still give it to him everyday. But his white pellet poops scares me. If anyone could suggest anything or at least tell if the avian prescription is right or wrong, that would be very helpful! My birds dropping look like the healthy ones but at the end of the swirl thingy there is an orange dot :| and it does look slightly watery (the whole poop of my bird) if it is anything bad imma nkt worry too much cause I only saw one dropping like that.

I have one budgie right now and right under it's wing on the left side it has no feathers and I'd want to know why it has that for because it's been almost 1 year and none of her feathers grew back on that spot, so as seeing you knowing alot about budgies I'd ask what's the best treatment to assist my budgie I did have her for over 2 years now so I'm just simply asking if you can tell me something at least to assist my budgie, Thanks a bundle if you do!

The problem is when my bird is grooming herself she pulls on her tail feathers to hard and they snap and some of them are poking out in strange positions

Try and see if your mom will come along. What does he or she have? What is the situation now? Maybe I can help you. But know I am not an expert or professional. Well I take the cage out almost every day, but keep in mind that they need shade and water but also peace. Keep them away from stressful things such as other animals. I think 2 times weekly will be enough for them.

My budgie sometimes do a kind of movement similar to vomiting but I am not sure about it. He would repeatedly do some yawning kind of movement while also moving his head up and down. But later nothing would come out of his beak and he would seem fine. Can u please tell whether it is actually vomiting or not?

Mine does this some times, if she is actually not regurgitating and she is just doing the movement, I think she is okay. When my other budgie was still alive, she was doing this to afterwords share food with him.

It is totally fine, my budgie also does that. If it had a mate, he would have regurgitated seeds for her after moving its head like that, it is all part of their mating ritual...So, I guess, it is a sign of happiness

A proud papa budgie of 8 healthy offspring, now has a constantly growing beak!!. I must take him every 2 weeks to vet for trimming. Why is is beak constantly over growing so fast??? Iam having a pair which raised baby budgie on last clutch about 2 months ago and iam Not satisfied on the size of baby budgie I mean it is active and healthy but does not have appropriate size of a grown up budgie chick there is no vet for birds and not only this time two years ago I was petting another pair in the same cage and they too resulted in the same size chick which I got this time I don't know whether it is because of the earthen pot because it has less space inside or nutrition in both the cases I have been providing good nutrition and clean water .And Luckily now the mother laied eggs soon after the that chick came out and now iam having 3 chicks , 2 chicks are 3 week old and one is 2 week it (hatched lately).i thought i have to go for hand feeding to raise my chicks but the problem is i don't find time to feed my chicks because I am busy on my school about 8 hours on my school I can feed in the morning and evening and night only NOW MY QUESTION IS CAN I CO PARENT MY CHICK I MEAN CAN I HAND FEED (BABY PREMIX) AND WHEN IAM NOT AVAILABLE LET THE PARENTS FEED CAN DO THIS,DOES THIS APPRCIATABLE PLEASE REPLAY Thank you
