Sorry, I forgot to say I am a subscriber to you channel. I talk about it to all my friends, as you do a really super job explaining about the precision stock and trap shooting tips you give.

I think you covered the precision stock really well. I am picking up my precision stock, that was just delivered to buffalo, yesterday, in the morning at UPS. It is for my Beretta 692, o/u, with 32 inch barrels. I am really excited to get the precision stock as I have had to wait 3 months for it. I would have gotten it sooner, but Bob Schultz told me Beratta's had to have a wooden pistol grip. The long and short of it is that I am really excited to be getting the stock. I have been shooting since the middle 70's. Love trap shooting.

That's the one thing not a lot shooters, especially older ones, will talk about. How to manage recoil. Now, to be accurate, as another guy pointed out in another video, you are not actually reducing recoil. Newton's laws of motion still exist. What you are doing is changing the timing of the recoil from a short and sharp smack to a slow and comfortable push. Recoil still goes from the rifle through the stock and into the shooter and exits to the earth through feet or whatever is contact first, such as sitting at a bench. As for cost, I have a cheapie Pachmayr slip-on, which works well for one rifle set up. I have another on a chassis rig. For my latest rifle, I wanted Goda Grip cheek pad and ammo pad, which leaves no room for a slip-on. So, I got a Falcon Strike hydraulic assembly. You remove the original recoil pad, which was pretty good, and install the base plate with included screws. Then you mount the pad and rotate in the locking arms. My rifle has a threaded barrel, so I put on an ASR muzzle brake. It felt like butterfly kisses. I did have the scope come loose but my shoulder felt nothing after 40 rounds. That was probably 154 + tax + shipping. Worth it, I think. The rifle was super cheap, which allows more budget for stuff like this.

How come your recoil system fits your rifle butt stock so perfectly. My Gracoil doesn’t fit. It looks to be too wide.

Please write the names of the systems in the show notes or a pinned comment.
