it is an augment that prokes multible times during a game → the 2-1 rewards shouldnt be strong enough to let you winstreak vs people who took a combat augment. 2* 3 cost can be realy strong - imagine if he got a GP or a Swain, even Ezrael could give you a 2-1 academy start (which is a free item, very strong for 2-1). (Swain is for sure the strongest hit for 2-1, no one will have the damage to kill a frontline 2* Swain at that stage of the game) Looking at the list of 3 costs, Smeech is probably the weakest you can get, he is also the most item dependent 3 cost unit. 1 item Smeech is nothing, but 2 or 3 item Smeech can do work (because you have to make him strong enough to always kill the target he jumps on, if he doesnt get a reset he is weak af).

there was someone weaker than him the entire time. He was 7th while having 8 rounds lose streak. Malz is an OP unit, and he does more damage if you kill units he already marked (because the marks stack and move to other targets). Risking a win a round or 2 earlier could have cost him the entire game
