@@gracehughes8776 why would someone go to church to read a twilight novel when its not during a church service?if that person gave herself the stress to drive to church just to read a novel inside then thats just disrespecring God and the church.we may not have the same beliefs but is christians believe thst the church is a sacred place and only book to be read in it should be books related to christ...the same way we respect other religions and pagans or atheists.those people should respect Our religion too.otherwise going a step ahead to show that they dont care about it is pure childish behaviour.

One thing I get tired of is trying to find urban fantasy/ vampire books that aren't just romance books masquerading as vampire fiction. I don't mind a little romance in the background but I don't want a series where most of the focus is on romance whether than say on saving the world, hunting monsters, and defeating evil. Basically I want more Buffy less twilight. I hated twilight lol. But I did like vampire academy because there were actually dangerous vampires as well as good ones. Vampires that glitter are a safe romantic version of the monsters I grew up reading. The only danger is of the sexy kind of danger. No thank you lol. So I appreciate the different kinds of vampire books you recommend in your video

I see people mentioning vampire mangas, the best vampire manga of all time (in my opinion) would be Vampire Hunter D. The manga (and the book series, and the movie Bloodlust; which was really good) really present vampires in the bloodthirsty, maniacal way they were originally. I’m not a fan of romanticized weak vamps that are written in books and in mangas (purely made for a teenager or housewife’s wet dream)-it’s contradictory to their own nature! Besides Dracula, Anne Rice’s vampires and Vampire Hunter D, I have yet to read another interesting story that really reels me in and exceeds all of my expectations. But I am open to other reads, as long as they aren’t young adult fiction.
