6:15 I’ve seen many “amazing” setups, and never have felt envious for a gaming standee/promotional piece, until now. That KOTOR stand is amazing. 😭❤️

Just bought Kuon on ebay few days ago and looking forward to it arriving and playing it. The Holy Grail of my ps2 collection. Great to see it included in here 😁👍

I have a copy of Kuon since the PS2 era. An underrated survival horror gem from FromSoftware. Here's my one pick game recommendation for each console: Nintendo: Contra Sega Genesis: Golden Axe Super Nintendo: Donkey Kong Country Jr NeoGeo console: KOF95 Sony Playstation: a tie between Resident Evil 2 and FF7 Sega Saturn: Power Slave Nintendo 64: Resident Evil 4 PS2: Silent Hill 3 Xbox: Jade Empire Wii: Super Mario Galaxy PS3: Uncharted 2 Xbox360: Alan Wake PS4: Spider-Man PS5: Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Xbox Series X: Cyberpunk 2077 (this runs better on the console and the physical disc comes with the Phantom Liberty DLC)

Congo Bongo on the 2600 is a core memory for me because it’s basically where I learned tenacity. The floaty jumps and punishing randomness in difficulty made most people give it up after 5 minutes but I spent hours and hours determined to torch that damn monkey, and the satisfaction of being able to finally do so routinely and turn the game over several times on a play through was a huge source of satisfaction that drove me to keep trying things that were hard. Hugely impacted my life. Not enough for me to touch Souls games though, I had adult responsibilities by then.

I love my PS2 💕 My favorite game is probably Balder's Gate Dark Alliance II, and my favorite series for the PlayStation 2 is Armored Core (1-6?). I still hook it up and play those games once a year for nostalgia sake.

Memory unlocked from watching this: me and my cousin bought Kung Fu Master from his local game shop, we both beat it within about 25 mins and took it back to the shop. Because of how quickly we beat and returned it they let us trade it for a different GB game! Good game but very easy 👌 Thanks Riggs!

Scooby Doo Mysteries was great; I just played through it recently, and I was surprised at just how dark and funny the humor was.

Congo Bongo out there now for around 15, manual sometimes. BUT I love the artwork. Never seen that on any ATARI cart.

The gunship in Knife Edge: Nose Gunner may be a helicopter, but the illustration makes it look like some kind of "futuristic" VTOL aircraft.

Had never heard of Kuon - perhaps given its rarity and From’s popularity it’ll find its way into ps5 as a classic

The graphics in that GBA boxing game look like when the Simpsons makes parodies of video games. Love it.

Okay John, you really need to make a playlist for your 100's of videos with this same title. I'm just now discovering them all through your in-video links.

There's a marathon and I've been putting them all in a playlist as I post them. There's only 11 or 12 videos like this.

I hadn't even HEARD of that Tale Spin game before, but the premise of Baloo actually travelling around the Tale Spin world and fight enemies from the actual cartoon that're appropriate to said worlds, would probably feel like mind-blowingly fan-service (and the projectile changing from level to level is also cool)... to the point where I'd probably also overlook whether the controls and difficulty were well-made or not. Oops.

I didn't play Neo Geo games back in the day, but definitely worth adding to the list. I didn't have a Neo Geo so I don't have as much nostalgia. Same with Game Gear, but there are some great Game Gear games out there.
