17:00 = 2x Nice headshots
18:30 = More MAV fail
I really don't care if you think I was wasting a slot for my team. I was having some fun. Camping is part of the game and can be a very effective tactic. 1 person does not loose the round, It takes a TEAM EFFORT to win or loose.

Laser increases hip accuracy, which recon needs when a suprise enemy shows up around a corner. Flash light is useless, and the suppressor is better for close range maps because of the massive bullet drop. So I think the laser is the best option most of the time.

@rebelbroker Love the suppressors on small maps. I am really happy to hear that the next change should increase the power of the suppressor across the board. I would use it more right now if it wasn't for the huge loss of damage it takes.

@rebelbroker Love the M39 with 8x for short to medium. Best semi auto, and a top contender for best sniper rifle overall. I still prefer the M98 for long range with the 12x. High damage and low bullet drop make it the best Long range sniper rifle. I also like the M40 as a bolt action for short to medium range. 10 rounds and a fast bolt make it a great choice.

@calland2k7 I like the 8x scope on the M39. Larger field of view. The 12x scope I mostly use on the bolt rifles. Actually I don't like the mildot style because they eat up extra space on a really thin crosshair. I would prefer the normal circular dots over these little lines.

@ryandpahl : Very true; they are easy to snipe, and I've already heard of the patch details and I am extremely glad to hear about the MAV situation. I think it self-destructing after one time is a pretty fair middle ground...Unless there's some trolls that will just committ suicide over and over again so they can continue...

I think that WW2 version of BF3 would be awesome... :) I LOVE Scoped Kar98 and also sniping "realistics" (bullet drop) of BF3... but it seems that there will be no more good WW2 styled games...

@gergb229 I use the 8x on the M39 mostly because of the increase field of view. Easier to get onto target for short to medium range targets. I rarely use the M39 as a long range rifle. If I am playing a really small map like Grand Bazaar, I will switch it to ACOG or sometimes ever the Holo sight.

M98B does the most damage, L96 is a close second. All of the semi auto rifles do about the same damage at long range and need a second hit to kill. Thus I still prefer the M98B for long range (500m or more). The EMR is great for short to medium range (0-750m).

Really nice video :) Interesting choice going with the M39 with foregrip for those distances. I usually try to get the headshot with as few misses as possible. Which make it easier with a bipod. I thought on something, why haven´t you made a platoon on BF3 that we can fan? Just a thought :)

@DJParkesie959II Next patch will destroy the MAV on impact with most objects, so you will only have one chance at it. Which is the way it should be. MAV is fun while in control, but very annoying if its chasing you.

@killerboyestudios : Run into they're upper chest / upper vertabrae (back) at full speed. You cannot roadkill mortor guys unfortunately. Thankfully after the patch you won't need to.

MAV is the recon's best friend, ... or pet. Have you tried any assault or support weapons with the 12x scope yet? I've been trying out the QBB-95 and taking people out with burst from far away. Great fun!

@DJParkesie959II Surprisinly, Karkand seems to be the worst map for MAV elevators. Funny that people still haven't learned how bad sniping from roof tops is. You are so obviouse and easy to kill in that position. But they persist, so I enjoy taking them down.

@ryandpahl do you prefer using the 8x scope because the mili dots make correcting long range shots easyer ? im like that as well. i wish the 12x has the same style as the 8x sometimes at long range its hard using the 12x because all you have for reference in the verticle line....

@ryandpahl Done anything with silenced versions of these guys? My current loadout has the the M39 with silencer. I am also toying with glass that will not cause the location revealing lense flare. I am finding I can do some fairly good shooting with the 4x in those situations.
