Reconditing a 100 year old Griswold pan in a lye bath

I got my hands on an antique Griswold pan that needed some serious help. The carbon build-up was decades old and scrubbing was not going to get the job done. I followed the method from www.castironco... which worked like a charm.
I used my classic 3x oven seasoning to lock in the season and this pan is ready for another 100 years
