Amazing video and very informative historic details, which I learnt for the first time. I love this area of Mumbai, including fort, Colaba, fountain area. In my early career, I had opportunity to visit many of these buildings in Ballard estate, as the port was still functioning there and my company was in exports business. I loved walking around these buildings, seeing the beautiful architecture. It is sad though that presently most of Ballard estate is kind of not vibrant as before. A little investment and interest in this area, could really turn it into a tourist attraction as most buildings are in real good shape. In most European countries, the area like VT, Fort, Ballard Estate, Fountain, Colaba would be the busy tourist district.. sadly we are more fixated on the steel and glass shine of BKC

Very informative Video..about Ballard Estate, which I was not aware of during my 39 years of stay in Bombay-Mumbai..I used to come here sometimes to the Larsen & Toubro Office where my cousin was working in the 80-90s..Is John Wittet the same English man who designed the Central Rly.HQ building..
