Beautiful fish! Love the look of those tiger trout! Impressive on 7x!

Another good video. Thanks for showing the flies. They reminded me to tell you I’ve become a big fan of the inverting beads I get through your website. Lately I’ve been landing way more of the shad I hook, mainly because I am hooking them in the beak, where the cartilage (?) is strong vs side cheek where the tissue is quite fragile. And the wider gape opening helps too. Fish on!

This is a fantastic video - well shot, fun, good music, and beautiful technique. I’m not sure how I’ve missed this channel until now. FYI your vids on Czech nymphing have helped me greatly. I’m now fishing deep short fast seams and runs that I could never fish effectively before. Results for today? 19” cuttbow on a previously impossible seam/run. TY!!!

I really like fishing this river way down at the confluence. There's some massive cutts there. I caught multiple 20in cutts out of there throughout last year.

I liked seeing that Tiger give you a little run for your money, especially knowing that you had on 7x...however you still make a big fish look easy. Thanks for all the tutorial, it's made an exponential difference in my ability to be confident on any river.

The kids on my street always fished together so we have an annual fishing trip to stay connected after we graduated high school and got scattered. We have a little trophy that goes to the person with the most fish and they get to add their initials and the year to the trophy. They get to keep it for that year and bring it to the next annual (they get to choose the Texas location for the next trip as well). There are over forty initials on it now and we spend more time in the lawn chair racing portion of the event. Treasure your connections because in the end they will be the most valued part of it all.

I love all the tip videos but its great just to see some pure fishing fun! That tiger on 7x is impressive. What lens do you like for your Smith glasses?

Nice video. Could you please describe your flyrod and reel you used? Thanks!

I used a prototype for the soon to be released T and T Contact II 10' 9" 3 weight. The reel was a Ross San Miguel 3/4 weight.

Another great video Devin! Have you shortened your nymph leader. If so can you please post formula.

Marc Bullard haven’t shortened it. It’s the same as I share in Adaptive Fly Fishing.

I met a guy today at the parking area for this water that claims he grew up on the same block as you. I should have caught his name but did not. He did however, have a serious beard growing LOL. Browns and Cutts today, no tigers.
