this has triggered my ASMR better than any video has in quite some time, and the records you have/inherited are amazing

You have such a lovely relaxing voice and presentation Brian. I really don't think you can ever "fake" asmr, you've either "got it" or not, and you definitely have the gift. 💕

I just "found" your asmr videos/KZbin channel and really like your approach-so calming and affirming. I am 45 and all my siblings are 12-20 years older and brought me up listening to their records. What a wonderful collection your dad gifted you with!! The Talking Heads are my forever favorite. And that Billie Holiday album is beautiful! Thanks for the lovely video.

15:12 ironic you say that because that’s actually a not the original album cover! I think that one was for the 50th anniversary of Beggars Banquet.

The Beatles Rock'N'Roll Music is a compilation album and that particular one is a 1976 US pressing. Later on it got split up into two single LP's but I personally love the silver gatefold, makes it feel fancy.

Capitol records used to release a Beatles collection every few years in order to keep milking that Beatle money... As I recall there were actually two or three collections of Beatles songs called "Rock and Roll Music." One in the early 70s, and then one or two others, later in the 70s and in the early 80s. Although they may have been the same collection. I THINK the first collection in the early 70s was only one record, whereas the second/third collection(s) ran over multiple records. Just a way to get more money out of the fans. Always worked. I think the later collection made it pretty high on the charts as I remember. In fact I think a single released off it made like the top 5---a song that hadn't been released as a single in the 60s. Maybe "Drive my Car." That rings a bell.

Speaking of U2 & Brian Eno, he produced The Unforgettable Fire which if I recall is from 1981. Brian is a family friend and has done, IMO amazing work (production) for so many bands and musicians! Still watching however I'm digging your taste! 😉

You have such an amaaaazing music taste. The rolling stones, the Beatles, The beach boys, Hendrix, Pink Floyd... i got so excited when You pulled out the doors' albums, they're one of my favourite bands of all time. Im 15 years old and I don't know anyone my age and in my surrounding who would listen to this kind of music and it's sad cause the controversial shit on the radio just keeps getting worse.
