Is there a way to see the recorded history and what in "linked" to what... such as in a feature tree that we get in catia for example?.. or is there some way to replicated that type of information using grasshopper technique?... Thanks for the tutorials!

Hello there, Thank you for your question! As far as I know, we can't directly monitor what is linked to what like a feature tree in CATIA. However, every command is recorded until we receive a "Rhino 6/7/8 History Warning." By using Grasshopper, we essentially create that "history" since we're designing the process with smaller, numerically controlled steps. This allows us to see what is linked to what and intervene at any step during the process and make changes or alterations. Therefore, it could be a great exercise to attempt designing the process of the desired output in Grasshopper. I hope this helps! Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have further questions. Have a great Sunday!

@@grasshopper3dlab Perfect, at least it sounds promising for me. I am starting to learn and play with rhino, but coming from a pretty extensive catia design background, it's difficult to "switch off" from that. You want some control over history but not necessarily time-stamped in order. Will look forward to some of your other training videos; the sound is a little quiet on this video as well... just for feedback.

I have no experience with CATIA, but I understand how challenging it can be to switch environments! Thank you for the feedback regarding the sound. We realized this after a few videos and have since changed the software. I hope you find the audio quality better in the upcoming videos :)
